It would be futile to disagree in what we all know: Stevie Wonder is one of the greatest musicians American music has given to the world. His natural talent is beyond recognition. He is a true musician. Performer, composer, arranger and producer all in one. Nevertheless this particular work which portraits two concerts (maybe too big of a places) falls somehow short from what I was expecting and mostly due to a weak performance by the musicians chosen to support Stevie Wonder. He outplays his crew by far. But his talent and energy doesn't cover the lack of fire in his band. It's a wasted opportunity. Who knows when Stevie will record live again. Althought I believe an unplugged record with a smaller group of musicians could work exceptionally ... Read More:

But Rock and Roll is Forever yells Ray Davies in between tunes on this fantastic live set by one of the best bands of their own or any other era. The Kinks at their live best- not to be missed. If you weren't around for these guys you really need to check them out because they sound as relevant and topical as any music that came after them. Ray Davies is brilliant.

According to the web site for the John Denver World Family, this album goes by several names: "Love Again," "The Unplugged Collection," or "A Celebration of Life." Whatever you call it, this recording, coming in his 53rd year, is mature, beautiful, and will spoil you for the recordings from his 20's and early 30's. By 1996 he had lived a lot of life, and it shows in this version of old favorites. A real gift to JD fans worldwide.

I love the version of El Duelo, actually, I love listening to her on it. I was happy that the song title was "con Ely Guerra" - yea, that must be the one. So I pay my buck and start listening. Hey! where's the Mexican chick? Damn it Jim! The download must be a different version, all I can figure. I wanted to hear Ely! Aye.
3 stars, not to slam them for my disappointment (amazon mixup? or did they edit her out or what? L if I know.)

Destacan temas como You Really Got Me, All Day...., Victoria, Celluloid Heroes....etc. Es un deber para cada fanatico y en especial para quien estadescubriendo la musica de este espectacular grupo. Lo garantizo al 100% y seguramente te luciras como anfitrion haciendo escuchar este disco a tus amigos, los que sepan de mùsica)

I have heard this album in its original state on the LP/Vinyl version when it came out in 1981, and might I say, that was one of the best Maze albums of all time. What I cannot believe is that some of the songs that were on the album are not on neither the CD or the MP3 version. I was getting ready to download this classic album onto my i-Pod when I discovered that the "Introduction" and a couple of other songs that were present on the LP/Vinyl version were missing from the CD/MP3 version.
For this reason, I decided against downloading it to my i-Pod. What Frankie Beverly needs to do is re-release CD, and make it so that it is EXACTLY like the original album. If and when he does that, then I'll consider buying the CD then (and then uploading it to my ... Read More:

Jesus H. Krishna - where did this forgotten gem come from?
From the high water mark of "All Things Must Pass" in 1970 that served as a compendium for all of his accumulating and unused Beatles-era work, George Harrison's more recent solo output has been at its best, spotty and at worst, downright desultory. Sharing the stage with Eric Clapton and taken from his last, very abbreviated, solo tour in 1991, Live In Japan (re-released after a ten year plus absence) brilliantly showcases a reinvigorated Harrison in top form - ripping through his Beatles and solo canon with a delicate ferocity that is both moving and completely unexpected.
The Beatles chestnuts are all here however, it is on some of his lesser-known solo compositions that his enthusiasm ... Read More:

Being a die hard Elton fan is sometimes not easy. I've titled this review to compare two major thoughts I always have while listening to this cd. I can never quite make up my mind where this is a truly passionate delivery from Elton or just completely overblown effort. Let me explain. There's no doubt that Elton pours his heart out on this release. He was in the midst of a tabloid scandal in Britain, his latest studio album didn't do so well(Leather Jackets) and was also at the height of his drug abuse. Not to mention a voice problem that led to surgery. On this release, his voice has no enjoyable quality: it's ragged, strained and monotone. It's a shame because staging a show this large just can't be canceled. So on with the show despite the singer's troubled vocal chords.
