Brief but blistering early live documentation of the group who, back in their earnest heyday, made terms like "arena-rock" seem powerful, UABLS might not have been the landmark early live disc fans were hoping for, but still offered ample reason why this sound should be documented (particularly that of Edge's fascinating textures). If they would have put a little more variety into their classic renditions and added a few more choice live cuts the disc could have been necessary (something they are apparently trying to remedy with the upcoming remastered double disc).

Sarah McLachlan is a delight to listen to. I got this cd after buying her Rarities, B-Sides, and Other Stuff cd. Her voice is very much alive and floating on every song! Not one song is run down or tired sounding because of worn out vocals! Sarah's vocals never seem to tire of singing. She has an excruciatingly gorgeous and luscious voice, full of expression and tenderness. This is a collection of some of her prettiest and best songs, on which her voice has shone quite bright indeed. The fact that this cd is live only makes the songs that much more breathtaking and memorable, not to mention Sarah's melodies that much more likely to become forever entangled in your heart strings. It is as easy as buying this cd to become addicted! You ... Read More:

I was given this CD on Sunday and listened to it today (Tuesday) for the first time. I would say that it is the most striking experience I have had listening to a CD for the first time since, well, perhaps the first time I heard London Calling. Beautiful, haunting, energetic, I could go on and on. Instead do yourself a HUGE favor and just get yourself a copy of this as quickly as you possibly can. Wonderful from start to finish.

Paris is a very unique and special live album of one of the great bands of late seventies and eighties. The combination of Rick Davies and Roger Hudson deliveres that special Supertramp sound, which was already unique on the studio albums.
This live albums contains the successes on the first CD and has some of the best and most beautiful songs of Supertramp on the second CD.

This is a true texas blues icon coming into his form live and loose. It is a must have. Although not the greatest sound quality - it was only 35 years ago or so... It is still better than a lot of stuff put out today if you can believe it. And the songs are all covers except mean town blues, but still anything Johnny Winter has ever done is great. Compare it with todays music. Could anyone ever come out and release a live album of with 6 covers and become a legend from it? I do not think so. BUT, if you have the talent and the guitar licks that make you stand out, yes, the cream does usually rise to the top. The "And" is all about a dude named RICK DERRINGER playing 2nd guitar in the band. Yes, nice right hand man to have on your side... Jumpin' ... Read More:

First time I heard this was over FM radio wearing headphones lying in bed, listening. They played the whole thing and they had short interval of somthing weird and then played the next cut, did this for the whole album, it was 1970 somthing.
IF you havent listened to this whole thing with real headphones without distraction, do it, trust me, do it, I would not lie.
Good lesson for guitar players also.

The 2-CD set plus DVD is a great buy. Although their music live is not quite as good as the studio music, I enjoyed it. The DVD was the best part, 2 hours long of great gothic presented music.
Release Date March 25, 2003
Good indication of the period sound of this iteration of the band. More of the bluesy sound that they started with than on later live releases.

I put this CD on my surround sound and feel like I am there, burnin' down the house. Great for every body who was born in the 70's. Keep on jammin.

I went to 2 of Mana's concerts in Houston. Both times were just electric. While the video put me in the same atmosphere, I feel the song choice could have been a little better. Much of the album reminded me too much of the Mana en vivo album with much of the song selection coming from that album (el rey, vivir sin aire, rayando el sol, and donde jugaran los ninos (loved that one though)). I do wish they had a couple of Alex songs from the Amar es Combatir album as well as other big hits. Maybe even show the Alex solo from PR. If you didnt go to the concert and bought this DVD you're totally missing out on some of the best stuff. If they came out with a part 2 with some of the other songs, I know it would be better than part one. Even the Accesso Total had a better song ... Read More:
