Sabiendo que nuestra salsa arraza con cualquier otra entidad latina que envidia la musica Puertorriqueña y no sabe lo que es hacer musica. Lo que es Salsa, Merengue, Bachata (Rep.Dom.), que es puramente caribeño pues se combino con reggae de Jamaica y el hiphop que tuvimos como union de Nueva York y de ahi se invento el reggaeton haciendo improvisaciones. This is one of the most well produced albums in Hip Hop period...I luv banging this cd in the ride with the windows down listening to the humorous rhymes of JuJu and Psycho Les. It's a str8 up east coast album but to me the production has a mass appeal to it. Lyrically both mc's are average but very entertaining but the production is the strong point of this album. Any hip hop junkie should enjoy this album no matter what coast you prefer. Hotep.

This album is classic, and honestly even though it's not representative of most Chicano rap that you hear nowadays, you can see how Frost set the stage with a couple of tracks, especially "La Raza". "La Raza" is immortal -- the first of its kind when it comes to Chicano rap. The whole album definitely has a very old-school feel to it, with the voice clips starting many of the tracks. As another reviewer mentioned, he seems to borrow from earlier black rappers. Some of the tracks his flow sounds a little like LL Cool J, because he has a hard and direct delivery, but then again many rappers had a somewhat similar sound at this time.

Dog, this album of Lil' Rob is amazing, it's the first I bought of him and I love it. I haven't too much to say, but this is one of his best at his whole career, with platinum success and high promotion. Lil' Rob has became one of my fav rappers and he has earned all my respeto.

Good Music is just that no matter the language...

the first time i saw IKV was in the video Abarajame and they just blew my mind because that was the very first time i was interested in a latin group and i was really feeling them. When i heard the whole album my jaw dropped... Because i was a big fan of Wu Tang 36 Chambers... and i couldn't believe that in South America someone was doing things even better than RZA at the time so well since 1991! That is the first 2 tracks, and if you like Jaguar house then you are a IKV fan.

Illya Style is Latin, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, R&B and rock and even when they have their own style don't expect their other albums sound like this one, chaco is unique and so the other albums.
