This album was my first experience with Manu Chao. The style is simultaneously simple and complex. From a musical standpoint, the instrumentation is primarily acoustic with simple rhythms, but lyrically and conceptually, nothing is simplistic about this masterpiece. Various audio and linguistic themes weave their way through the work, giving the listener the experience of time suspension much like that of an insomniac in a sedated state of relaxed almost-sleep where thoughts almost form, transform into other thoughts, and then evaporate only to be replaced by new thoughts.

Manu Chao employs a unique mixture of languages which form a drifting and ever changing cultural context. I've never heard anything like it.

I don't understand what they are saying, but when i was in mexico last month i heard "Cada que..." about 14 times (radio, tv, drivers car, restaurant, etc). I liked it.

Then while in Texas last week, i heard it another 5 times.. so i gave in and bought the CD.

I'm not a huge fan of pop music, so the CD overall is Good/OK, but there's something about Cada que that i really like.. i love that song...

I made a mistake of buying this CD without listening to it first.It has also five music in a CD.I Love to listen to Tango Especially La Cumparsita , La Paloma, A Media Luz,and love to dance Tango...Very Sorry that "Tango: Zero Hour" is not my type of music and did'nt impress me.

this dvd was a special gift for my mom since he was from her younger years and is still her favorite singer. she was so happy to find this under the christmas tree.

anyone who grew up in the latin community knows jose jose or has heard him played in their homes at one time or another.

this i recommend to anyone who wants to hear an incredibly talented singer, you won't be dissappointed.

An album with passionante songs, color, life, energy and authentic Mexican spirit.
I like Vicente Fernandez voice, especially when he stresses some words in full voice and the voice sounds a bit rough.
Good music , good sound.
