Bien puedo decir que este disco es excelente. Para el público que esta pidiendo variedad y alguna propuesta refrescante tengo que indicarles que este cd es el que estas buscando. Con una fuerza interpretativa inigualable se pueden apreciar distintos generos como la cumbia, reggeaton, bachata, balada, R & B entre otros. Sin duda alguna ERRE XI es la nueva generació. Gracias Luny Tunes por traernos algo diferente.

This album is simply amazing. After the commercial success of her first U.S. release, LAUNDRY, Shakira went back to her artistic roots with this all-Spanish album. The musicality, lyricism, and tone of this CD puts all of her prior and later work to shame. Even the English VOL. 2, a great album in its own right, pales in comparison. Shortly after its release, "Hips Don't Lie" (which is not included on the original version of VOL. 2) became a big hit. I don't assume Shakira will ever return to this sort of artistic work, preferring to make millions making mindless pop songs, and who can blame her? At least she gave the world this one resounding triumph of sound.

Plastilina Mosh is one of my favorite bands, but the new album is disappointing. The problem is, they don't appear to have had a native English speaker help them with their English lyrics, and those lyrics are often just, well, corny. Perhaps what they were trying to express might have worked in Spanish, but the meaning or sentiment just doesn't convey well in English.

There are still some good songs. The best song is My Party. It's a novelty song, but done well and fun to listen to. 2nd is probably Let You Know. A few of the lyrics are a little odd, but the song is very catchy. Pervert Pop song is a close 3rd. This one may grow on me. The real disappointment is Danny Trejo. A child prodigy whose love of the harmonica began after a blow to the head at age 5 caused him to be blind, Hugo Diaz asked his father for a harmonica and was performing by age 7; shortly after, his sight was surgically restored but the centrality of the harmonica in his life remained. He may have been totally self-taught. I think all of this history is what we hear in his playing.

He was primarily an Argentine folklorist but he recorded several tango records; his playing on this cd is lyrical, passionate, thoughtful and relatively spare. It is not totally clear but it seems that he is, also, the guitarist on this cd.

This album is one of the gems in the Putumayo collection. It is vibrant and energetic, and gives a delightful overview of Cuban music. My favourite track is Mecanica de Amor - Mi Son. Brilliant. Buy this one!!

I have been a fan of Ricky Martin since I was a young girl. And yet, I truly wasn't going to buy this CD because after his Livin' La Vida Loca era, I didn't like the path his music was heading, but after hearing one of his new songs, "Tu Recuerdo" on the radio, I went out and bought the CD. This is one of the few CD's where I can say I love every single one of the songs in it. His vocals are AMAZING, the song selection is the BEST and you can truly feel him connecting with the music. He put all of his best songs into one CD and even if you've heard the songs before in one of his earlier CD's it doesn't feel repetitive at all, it's refreshing. I LOVE it.

Amazon's five stars cannot do justice to Bebe's Pafuera Telaranas, an album that deserves six stars. I cannot listen to this album without it effecting me emotionally. One song makes me want to cry and the next one makes we want to date her. She rails against abuse. She expressively describes making love and thinking about making love. Bebe touches on subjects that few Spaniards would. Themes like "thinking of you with my hand", "taking advantage of a stranger sleeping in the park to satisfy a curiosity for the taste of 'honey'" "the yearning of her vagina that can only be cured by his thing," and so on.
