Festival in july 2008 and I was curious to listen to some of her recordings.
The record "Esperanza" is most interesting and enjoyable and she brings
a new pleasant spectrum in the jazz scenery.

Bought this CD for two reasons - I've always liked Frank's music and secondly my daughter and I will be dancing to The Way You Look Tonight at her wedding on 9/13/08. That song is on this CD and we both thought it was appropriate!

I love David Sanborn whether he's playing sweet and slow or hot and fast. This tribute CD's got some of jazz standards and heavy hitters from other genres as guests. It's 9 songs and about 2 minutes--could be a bit longer. Still it's a very listenable CD, maybe not Sanborn's best, but well worth having on the shelf.

My favorites:

I'm Gonna Move to the Outskirts of Town--featuring Eric Clapton
Basin Street Blues
I Believe it to my Soul--Joss Stone

Okay, it's all good, but these are my current faves. Give this one a listen.

Stanley, Marcus and Victor have outdone themselves. A great new version of Clarke's "Lopsy Lu". If you are a fan of any of these bassist, you won't be disappointed with Thunder. Great recording . . . lots of bass!

I know I'm a bit behind buying this album now when its been out for a few years, but I own the two newest albums and LOVE them. I have to say that this album did not disappoint me one bit. I think I like it even more than his most recent albums. The songs are so romantic and sexy. If you are a Michael Buble fan and don't have this one yet, do yourself a big favor and buy it!
