I have read a lot of negative reviews for this album, but just can't agree with them. This is one of my favorite albums of all time. While there are still similarities in the sound to Nickelback, who are a great band, I don't believe that they have made as solid a record as this one by TOAD. From song Crutch, which is a crushing rocker to Little Smirk, a sardonic and big F.U. to a cheating girlfriend, this cd has it all. And it must be said that Tyler's voice has never been stronger or clearer.

I have been waiting for Ringo to release a DVD with his all staar band. On this DVD he delivers the goods.
His allstaars are Richard Marx, Rod Argent (Zombies),Sheila E. (Prince), Billy Squire, Edgar Winter and
Hamish Stuart. The DVD contains 27 songs. You get great music, outstanding production, awesome
sound and video quality. If you like Ringo, you will really like his allstaar band. The song selection could
not be better, hits ranging from It Don't Come Easy to Free Ride, Time of the Season, to Yellow Submarine.
It is a great DVD. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

This is the first album I've listened to in over a year where I've been able to just put it on and listen to it all the way through without so much as a wincing effort. The track "New Soul" is definitely a highlight, but far from the best. Yael has the smoothest voice I've heard since Corrine Bailey Rae, and her styles are varied and complex. She sings in three different languages, all with such beauty and control. Though some songs are happy and bright, such as "New Soul" and "Far Far", many more are cheery the way a rainy spring day is. A few songs ( Lonely, Levater)are definitely melancholic, but still hypnotic in such a way that you'll have to pry yourself away from the music. This is the best single so far. A Cure fan will not be disappointed. The B side is excellent as well. By the way...the Billboard chart this week for Singles (Sales) shows the three Cure singles in the top ten and Sleep When I'm Dead is in #4.

Another pretty good Rush live album. Perhaps it isn't better than Rio or rush 30 but stills good. Passage to Bangkok, Circumstances and Mission are the surprises. The new material is good alive.

One word: chills. Even a non-fan of Muse will have a tough time making it through the opening "Knights of Cydonia" without being swept away by the blistering energy. If you have had the fortune of seeing this remarkable band live, this set does a fine job capturing some of the incredible power they bring to the stage, and has proven a fine way to introduce the uninitiated to what live acts aspire to inspire.

The DVD does a far better job of lifting off (the Prokofiev from "Romeo and Juliet," while a lovely musical nod to introduce the band and the first song, is an over-long and somewhat baffling opening track on the CD), but both discs keep you riveted to the ending chords of "Take a Bow."
