The CD is an excellent mix of very popular and inspirational Gospel songs. There are genres of traditional style, contemporary, and praise and worship. Congrats to those who decieded on the content and selections.

Snatum Kaur's voice is hauntingly beautiful, and this CD is divine from the first note to the last. If you are a student of yoga, you may recognize some of the songs from your yoga classes. It's great for yoga, journaling, contemplation, meditation or just being.

I bought the record when it first came out almost 35 years ago. I had long since sold off the album. I ordered the CD recently and it arrived on my birthday. At my party, I played the album, and it was the most popular of the evening collectively by young and old alike. This is really a reggae classic.

Opeth is without a doubt my favorite band of all time. I was looking forward to Watershed a great deal. Unfortunately, it left me in the same frame of mind as Deliverance. I realize I'm in the minority of Opeth fans in saying this, but Deliverance was my least-favorite album of theirs. At least, until Watershed came out -- it now takes the bottom spot. Production is great, augmented instrumentation (strings, oboes) are a nice touch, Mikael's clean singing continues to impress. But the simple fact is that Martin Lopez is a god among men and no one can possibly replace him, period. Other reviewers have commented on the album's lack of focus and I agree. I'm all for being eclectic and embracing diverse influences, but the entity being influenced ... Read More:

To all those that don't like this new album, they can suck it up and deal with it. I personally love this album. They decided to do something that, in some ways, was very different. I applaude them for that. I love all the tracks on here and I even bought a copy for my uncle so he could listen to Radiohead. As far as if that was the best album for him to start listening to Radiohead I don't know.Radiohead- In Rainbows (Guitar Tablature)

This is one of those rare C.D.s that without fail allows me to get to a deep meditational state rather quickly. I first heard it in Reiki I and II class when the teacher was playing it extensively throughout the class. I've listened to new age-type music for decades and have quite a collection but this one "grabbed me" (as did the Jonathan Goldman/Gregg Braden title "The Divine Name" for the same reason). "Holy Harmony" can also be played in the background for other activities also to create a spiritual background sound ambience. A very sacred, Cathedral-sounding mantra (with tuning forks in the background)that cuts to the soul.

I was fortunate enough to have received (and reviewed) a copy of The Wombats' debut EP here in the states back in February. It didn't take me a long time to fall in love with the band. I found their witty tales of boy/girl woe to be irresistible, and the short, 5-song album really got me excited for their full length debut. After only a few months of anxious waiting, it has finally arrived. Does it live up to my expectations?
Totally. All of the wit and charm that The Wombats displayed on that EP (not to mention, all of the songs) are still in full force here. The intro-track "Tales of Girls, Boys & Marsupials" is a playful, acapella song that simply repeats its title for a minute or so. As a "real" song, it doesn't do much. ... Read More:

I preordered this CD. I just listen to it for the second time. This is satire at it's most boring. Don't bother with this CD. Ry has done much more interesting stuff, both lyrically and musically. Listen to the samples before you buy. I wish I did. If you like what you hear ignore this and go with your own tastes but for me "yuck!"

If a lot of the songs on this compilation seem like early 90's hits, it's because they were. I have to imagine that Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg wrote the script to Pineapple Express during that time period, so it would make sense that these were songs that inspired them during that time. Lotsa classic tracks like Crossroads by Bone Thugs N Harmony, Eddie Grant's danceclub hit Electric Avenue and Cypress Hill's Dr. Greenthumb.... And the Huey Lewis title track....Awesome!
