Less than enthralled by this collection, I found the pitch to be of such high frequency that it was painful to the eardrums. I was unable to concentrate suffice to meditate. Although I sampled the tracks before buying, reducing the volume of the stereo simply did not create the desired effect. The music would have been quite good had it not been so high-pitched.

Libera, Angel Sublime I and II by Aeola, and the angelic voice of Maria Callas are recommended. Guided angelic meditation cds are avalable from Amazon.com.

Before I purchased The Heart of Reiki CD, I had previously purchased 3 other CDs from Merlin's Magic (Reiki The Light Touch, Healing Harmony and Tai Chi- all purchased through Amazon.com) and was very happy with all three so after reading the reviews about this CD I decided to buy it, and I love it. The Heart of Reiki is just as beautiful and relaxing as the others I have from Merlin's Magic. This is the kind of music that you can listen to for meditating, to relax, to do spiritual healing, to play it when you have company, or just to fill your living space with positive calming energy & vibrations. I absolutely love it and so have my family & friends that have listened to it.

The music on this CD is very soothing and very relaxing. I bought this CD and decided to play it in my car and make it a sacred place so to speak. On the fourth day after having this CD play in my car I was running late taking my daughter to an appointment. A car changed into my lane without looking back causing me to slam on my brakes or rear end that car. With my brakes fully locked I went into a skid but was able to remain calm and correct the wheel but could not stop. Did you know that listening to drums boosts your immunity? (Scientifically Proven) I bought this CD wanting to listen to some drums. Here the drums are in the background keeping beat, are drowned out by a multitude of other instruments and sounds, or they are competing with a flute. It sounds like there's even a keyboard and an electric guitar.

You may want to keep in mind that I wanted to hear drums and would have been completely satisfied if there were no other instruments at all.

The tracks feel chaotic and noisey. The best way to desribe it is this: In Beethoven's 5th (da da da DA) there are a multitude of instruments working together to say the same thing, or take you to the same place, throughout the masterpeice. ... Read More:

Pillow Music - Natural Deep Sleep

Pillow Music is awesome!! I have difficulty falling asleep and this music really helps. I was skeptical that music could actually help, but it does. I put this disc on, spray my pillows with lavender aromatherapy spray and it's off to dreamland.

Krishna Das is the top of his genre. This CD in particular is marvelous for yoga classes or at home for meditation and relaxation. The percussion and vocals add a lively twist to the traditional yoga chants. Highly recommended~

As always, Thomas comes through with these great mantra CDs. This one is excellent again, though I do wish he would have gone into ALL the planets and what parts of the body they rule. It was all very interesting and my favorite of the mantras is the Apadamapa one. Thomas' CDs always have so much content, you really get your money's worth.
