The urban groove chants do have a certain cool feel to them and after giving them a few listens, I've grown to really like them for mood music or even freestyle dance. The chants that are set to either the ambient music or are alone are very beautiful (the chanter has a gorgeous, deeply spiritual voice and intones well) and can be used to chant along with or to simply listen as one enters a deep meditation. I really love the writings of Lama Surya Das (nee Jeffery Miller) who writes about Tibetan Buddhism for a mostly Western audience and presents it well and without unneeded dogma (Tibetan purists probably are horrified at his approach, but I think the last thing Westerners who are curious about Buddhism need when they're exploring this faith ... I absolutely love this album. I use it in my Montessori classroom to help children fall asleep at nap time and it works like magic. The slow falling and rising help bring about a calm state of mind and body! Breathing automatically becomes slower and deeper, facilitating rest and renewal. All the cares of the morning slip away. Peaceful and soothing for everyone. I literally wore out a CD playing it every day and bought a new one.

I can't espress how much I love this CD! The Feng Shui tips are so easy to understand and impliment and the music is great. I highly reccomend it to anyone who has even thought about getting into Feng Shui.

I'm a massage therapist, and this CD by far is my favorite (and I have a huge collection). The rhythym is perfect for massage, and it's totally relaxing for my clients. It's very peaceful, DJ Free picked a perfect name for this album. Because it truly brings you to a mystical canyon. I love it.

There is power on this CD.

There is something on this CD that really can put you in a trance, indeed there is power, could be the rhythmic chants, could be the hypnotic sitar, could be the infinite layers of background sounds, could be the drums, could be the implicit power of the Goddess, the great Green Tara, the Goddess of Compassion and Protection.

There are only 2 song on this CD, The first song, "To Invoke the Goddess" give us a sonic landscape of layers of sounds, drums, and the Mantra, the second song "To Evoke the Goddess" is a Mantra-less version, with more powerful and wonderful drumming.

A voice-culturist and voice-educator, Nakkach croons sacred chants and wordless vocals to the gentle, predominantly minor accompaniments of electronic keyboards, oboe, acoustic strings, and hand percussion. This is a wonderful CD. I have the Peace of Mind 1 & 3 cds. They are so calming and just great cd's to have on in the background while you're working or sleeping. I play it in my daughter's room while she's sleeping and she's never slept better. I highly recommend purchasing all 3.
