I think there new album is different but still awesome... avenged sevenfold n more hardcore than my chemical romance n all the other bands.. but wit there new album they wanted to try something different n it works... i bought the new cd n as soon as i put it in the cd player in my car i loved the songs... A7X rocks!!!

Maynard James Keenan is a crazy man. With 3 bands under his belt (Puscifer, A Perfect Circle, and Tool) he shows that he can still keep all the bands from sounding anything alike. Tool is such a great band to just chill too. Seeing them in concert is something every Tool fan needs to do before they die. It's a great show with laser lights and crazy 3D pictures and weird images and of course an awesome band fronting it all.

Not many people do music like this anymore; you know the over the top heavy metal grunge hybrid that was so popular with kids in the late 90s, Live is gone, Candlebox has been snuffed out and yet Evanescence not only continues to do this type of music, they sell millions of gazillions of CDs doing it. Of course they do have the angst ridden Amy Lee to lead them, something those other bands never had.

Despite myself I really like Evanescence, the first album blew me away due to the fact that I didn't think it would ever get more than a passing glance on my CD shelf, but every now and then it ends up back on the stereo. I have been a rather big fan of King's X for nearly 15 years. It is very rare that I will have a CD in my changer for more that a week at a time, but XV has not only been in my changer for a month, I have listened to it every day -- I honestly love this CD and it is still growing on me. Once in maybe 5-8 years will a CD come along where I like every single song; XV is one of those very rare CDs. Now what is amazing here is XV contains 14 songs (with 'Alright' being my favorite). Pure and simple it is the very best work from maybe the most talented but overlooked band in the U.S.

Hot Rocks 1964-1971 is an awesome two CD Stones compilation set that has so many of their best hits. This also makes a great introduction to the band, too, just as other people have said. The sound quality is excellent and the artwork is really nicely done.

The first CD starts with "Time Is On My Side;" this classic Stones tune really rocks well and they deliver this with lots of positive energy! The percussion is great; and The Stones sing and play this to perfection! "Heart Of Stone" has a great beat; and Mick Jagger sings this passionately--with all his heart and soul. Amazing !!!!!! The only negative for me was the Montreal audience wasn't as passionate as I would have been! A flawless performance from Queen for sure. Although the video quality of the Live Aid segment didn't match the Montreal concert ..... the sheer magic of the event and the response from the audience and "back stage guys" was extremely emotional for me. This DVD is the pride of my Blu-ray collection

This cd has some very good songs from early ac/dc with Bon Scott. It is worth your pepsi points to get it. The bagpipe in the first song isvery exceptional

It's hard to believe the albums that changed my life all seemed to have been around the late 70's and early 80's and I didn't think that would change but then something happened. In all fairness there wasn't all that much greatness after the beginning of the 80's - by the time I had worn out most of my vinyl from the early 80's I was mulletized, wearing name brand acid washed jeans and trying to hang with the cool kids of the Def Leppard crowd.
