As a real old fan of Sepultura this record, to me, is Soulfly's best record. As a fan of music I love to see bands grow and that is exactly what they have done. Since Marc Rizzo joined the band the records have become more soulful, intense, and metal. Conquer is not only their best release but their most technical without losing their roots in making the crowd move. I would highly suggest this record to metal heads that love Arise and Dark Ages because of the soulfulness and technicality. You can tell they spent some time on theses songs compared to Cavalera Conspiracy. Just buy it you'll love it.

Great music from a great band but I have problems (no CD in there) with playing the CD on 2 different CD-Players (Pioneer and Marantz) only on my Laptop it is working. How can that be?? What`s wrong with this record? Has anybody an idea?? Let me know. Thank you so far and greatings from germany!!!

Nevermind is a fascinating, strange, grumpy old creature. If you think that means I think it sounds dated, you're wrong. I KNOW Nevermind sounds dated, don't be fooled. Some just think that
"It aint dated, man. It's just classic, it's just influential! Don't ask questions."
That's absolutely fine and appropriate. But I KNOW it sounds dated, . Why does this matter.
Some say "well, duh, it's narrow, it's un-spectacular. It's too loud, it has nothing to say. They're Not even musicians." I think their right, but I also think that such people enjoy their favorite music like many enjoy fallatio; extremely customer-biased, with not much to say but witha whole lot of work to be done. But this band is a punk group.

i wont hold this particular version of TCATS to any real standard because a lot of the songs were b-sides added in later. i can tell you its a shame 'Dear Lover' wasnt put on the original release but oh well.

When i first heard this CD back in 97 it was instantly a classic and main stay and while i have had more fun with other Foo Fighters material its easy to come back to this one but only half heartedly. a lot of the songs just cant hold my attention so much anymore which is ok, so with that said i cant give this CD 5 stars.

i'm at work and my boss subjects me to mainstream music all day, everyday. i'm a musician and i have patience. i know that not everyone likes everything. i can appreciate ignorance because, of course, where would companies like Virgin be if it couldn't thrive on horrible bands like saving abel?
when sa's song "Addicted" came on the air i just couldn't help myself here. i'm not going to say that it's the worse song i've ever heard, but that's only because i can't think of the worst at the moment. i will say that as a human being that loves the art that this world has had to offer so far, these people should be ashamed of themselves. from their album cover to their lyrics, i can't think of anything, but that these people actually live and breath and make a lot of money in the process. can ... Flyleaf shows why they have consistency on the Billboard Album chart. Every song shows a passion that Lacey and the others have for the music. My favorites are "All Around Me" and "Cassie". I really love the acoustic version of "Cassie". Flyleaf displays their musical prowess by supplying acoustic versions of "Fully Alive", "Red Sam", "Cassie", "I'm so sick", and "All around me". If you haven't picked up this CD, pick it up. It is worth the money.
