I don't think it is necessary to tell you that if you're a big fan of Fantomas or the Melvins you should've bought this by now. It is a great DVD, and I have to disagree with the reviewer above me who said that the 'camera tricks' are 'cheesy'. It alternates between crystal clear high definition, and darker and grainy image with a light 'splash' of camera effects and graphics. This gotta be the first show I've seen with computer graphics added that don't suck a big one (like a few i've seen with big explosions, outer space images and planets coming at you, or some others with colorful distorted computer polygons or whatever, now that's cheesy).

"Highway To Hell" would be the album that put AC/DC on the map in the U.S., but would also be the last for lead singer Bon Scott who would die of alcohol poisoning shortly after the album's release. Scott always harnessed a playful nod and a wink sense of humor in his lyrics and vocals that would raise the level of the material up a few notches. You never got the feeling that he was taking himself too seriously. Musically in many ways AC/DC sticks to their patented formula, but on this album everything works very nicely. The title track became the band's first legit hit in the U.S. and remains one of the most famous classic rock guitar riffs to this day. I think all the songs on this are well done...they have melodies which a lot of other hard rock/metal doesn't. I have Indestructible and The Sickness also. Indestructible has guitar solos which i like, but i like the songs better on Ten Thousand Fists. I'm not a great music critic but I think if you like disturbed then you need to have this album.

Oh, and shame on whoever tagged this as alternative rock.

Trapt has once agian found the way to make the best music they could. every song on this album is great. From start to finish there is never a dissaponting time on the disc. Many of the songs tell the story so clear and it makes you feel like your there with them watching them write these songs. Great disk, pick this one up.

Evanescence features a wonderful female singer named Amy Lee. Amy has a very good, deep sounding voice. You won't have the generic female singer that the mainstream is used to. The music in this one has a good amount of variety to it. Sometimes you will hear rock music, electronica, or some weird other sounds. One problem I have with this one though is that Amy Lee sounds the same in most of the sounds. Still, she sounds good, just the same.

The obvious audience for this one is someone who feels weak and wants to rise up. Not in a political way, but in a more emotional way. Soem of the lyrics are based around females more then males, but you can deal with it.

Songs like "Lithium" and "Weight of the world" are my personal favorites. ... Read More:

This is a collection of unreleased,demos,B-sides,soundtracks, and fan favorites.
This Collection is great. Unlike volume 1 which is just their top 40 hits. It has tracks from all their releases. "Torn Apart", "No Way Out", "I'm Awake Now" and "String of Lies" are my goo songs on this record.
Their version of Tom Petty's "American Girl" is great too.
Then you got the DVD which has all their music videos and a live performance.
Since the Goo Goo Dolls are past their prime they should focus on reissuing and remastering their old records, since their first 3 records have bad sound and all almost impossible to find.
