Zack still has the fire but was not sure of the message, I am a fan of RATM so I would always support Zack and his music. I enjoyed track one and three but if it wa anyone else I would not have bought. It was the same with Night Watchman of Tom Morrello from RATM but that was on the Dylan side of music.

I have been a fan of Linkin Park since the Hybrid Theory days and they have since then continually made great and risk taking music. With this album many risks are taken. Some risks paid of and some just led to not so great music. Many people seem very upset about this album but to me, I'd rather see an artist I like taking risks and finding new sounds then for them to just keep making repetitive music. At least with MTM, they broke up the box and scrapped together way different styles and came out with some stellar stuff. Upon my first listening I wasnt so impressed but as the year has passed since its release I've come to love alot of these songs. So my suggestion would be to listen to it, sit on it, then review it. I am a big Shinedown fan from the beginning and loved the first CD, but tepid about the second one. I had read reviews about this CD not sounding like either of the first CD's and I was a little aprehensive purchasing it, but went ahead anyway and let me tell you, I am very happy that I had. The CD rocks!! I have listened to it at least 20 times completely through since I purchased it and I really love every song. There is more musically going on than the first two CD's and the vocals are stellar and I feel there are at least 4 or 5 singles from The Sound Of Madness. Enjoy!

I bought this CD after seeing Buckcherry at Cruefest. Everyone song on this CD is really good. I have had it in my CD player ever since I bought it. I really recommend this to any rock fan.

Three Days Grace's sophomore effort "One-X" is not only the best rock CD of 2006, but my personal favorite of all time. Every song has a grungy hard rock tone to it, even the slow ones. The CD shines on every song, the first 4 being the best on the record. Until their third one in 09, this is the greatest CD ever, next to Breaking Benjamin's Phobia, Buckcherry's 15, and some classics like AC/DC or Aerosmith or Guns 'N' Roses.

What Pearl Jam did, maybe even unwittingly, was to weld the thick sludgey minor-chord sound (and general angst) of grunge to arena size rock choruses and guitar power. In doing so, they managed to quickly outshine their nearest peers (Nirvana) commercially and ultimately become the vanguard for rock through the 90's. Along with Red Hot Chili Peppers and maybe Soundgarden, they shaped the sound of a decade and thrived to see their success sustained creatively.

"Rearviewmirror" reflects (har har) that 12 years between Ten and Binaural in solid fashion, even if does lean heavily on the first three albums. The title track of the album delivers! The album is very strong and the old Crüe is back. Not my favorite but I recommend it.
