Interestingly, I am listening to Earshot "Not Afraid" on Squizz as I write this, but just received and listed to this great new CD. If you like Earshot, you will like this release. What a great band, I hope they tour in the Northeast this year, they should, there are not many bands this good IMHO, but I do love the likes of Disturbed, Ministry, Linkin Park, Sevendust, Mudvayne, and similar great bands. This is a great work of art, and I say this completely unbiased, nothing to gain or lose.

A Perfect Circle sounds like Tool only with more melody and less attitude. My favorite song was " The Nurse Who Loves Me". It was a good CD to just put on and let it play through.

More great live music from the real king of texas blues. This material is killer. BUT, when they say bootleg, they mean it... The mix sounds if taken from a sound board and maybe ran thru a sound enhancer. Not sure if it is just my cd, but the treble is way up -sounding like it is maxed out to hide the hiss. You have to turn it down -which on my car deck is a pain. But then again, you have to take the bad with the good when it comes to a legend like Johnny Winter. If you are like me, you will buy everything he puts out -and relish it. Which is exactly what I do - and you should too. They do not make them like Johnny Winter anymore. I'm a newer fan to Incubus (I bought this CD in 2005) but I absolutely love them and this CD is amazing! It's a lot different than their previous albums and this whole CD has a very California, laid-back vibe to it. Awesome lyrics, wonderful vocals, and it's very catchy! I recommend this to everyone!

Get this album, this is their 2nd live album and first with brian johnson. Brian is very good live. He even does a better job than bon scott. Brian is much better at singing Highway to hell. You can also consider it as a greatest hit album, a lot of their singles are on here but they are live. Also, to let you know this is a double cd, they have 2 different sets. A double which is this one and they have a standard one set cd

This one takes me back to my high school days which were good times. Some of the best memories from those days of my youth were spent discovering new musical sounds and nothing was as unique as Jethro Tull. Who in their right mind would name their band Jethro anything? These guys were not only tight rockers but they also had a flute player! The vocals were unique as well almost demanding the listener's attention. Nice grooves kept my feet tapping thanks to some great up front bass and drums and that guitar player just flat out smoked. They also had a good twisted sense of humor (Fat Man). A lot of people like to rave about the classical cum rock tune Bouree and I concur that it is infectious much like chocolate. I was trying to balance the two extreme reviews of this album. First the Amazon review is a joke as has been pointed out. No way is this anywhere as good as Contraband. I do think they were going for a different sound and it works sometimes but most of the time the entire disc seems forced and recorded with no group unity whatsoever. It is easy to hear the songs Weiland wanted on the album vs. the songs the rest of the band wanted. And that is ultimately what brought the band down. Corporate rock is a great description of this album. No real stand out tracks but nothing completely horrible except the "bonus track". A lot of rehashed ideas also but I think there are a couple of good moments.

The eleven samples for this CDs are all labeled as "EXPLICIT." Ha!

This is a remarkable album, although one I would want to keep my Ramones loving pre-teen away from - they are doing more than sniffing glue here. Yes, there is much drinking and drugging - I been there and seen that and it is a bit sophomoric and repetitive, but this band just rocks and it is funny and bright at times deadly brilliant. And, if you are bright they tell you the downside of constabnt partying.

"Citrus" is tender and accurate - soft and understated. Wonderful acoustic guitar. I am a pushover for novel love songs. And they lament the violence caused by drug traffic:
