Arrived a little late, most likely due to shipper/shipping service, having hard time getting "stereo" mix right, still trying, but nice product for the price!

This is one of the best Stones albums ever!!! I love the way they poke fun (especially about New York in Shattered.) Every song on this album is different in its own way and you just cannot sit still. If you can sit still during this album you are surely dead. After dancing around for the whole album I am pooped. It is GREAT. One of their best.

Perhaps it's my fault for setting my expectations too high, but this CD just didn't deliver what I was hoping for. I've been an Iced Earth fan for some time and was excited at the prospect of hearing Matt Barlow's comeback on this album. His singing is fine, the music itself is fine, but as a whole it never really accomplishes anything particularly memorable. The highlight of the whole CD is the intro. That's not usually a good sign.
Again, there's nothing bad here. There's just nothing that makes me want to stop what I'm doing and give that one another listen.

ESSENTIAL ALBUM!!! One of rock's outstanding debuts that ranks in the top 20 debuts ever. Eddie Van Halen stunned the world with his incredible leads & there weren't too many better front men than David Lee Roth. Though the album only peaked at #19, it's not indicative of the quality of this album. There were two singles from the album that charted: "Runnin' With the Devil" (#84) & "You Really Got Me" (#36). Once again, the performance of the singles doesn't give the proper credit to the band.
The album opens with "Runnin' With the Devil" which showcases the talent of Eddie Van Halen. Van Halen knew how to give us hard rock with a very keen perception of pop & concise songs; rarely, if ever, did their studio recorded songs ... Read More:

This is the best thing Jethro Tull ever did, and it's also my all-time favorite album. You might say it's pretentious except that pretension implies unfulfilled ambition. You'll find none of that here; Tull deliver heroically on every level. ELP, Yes, and most of the other prog bands were pretentious. They sounded silly sometimes because they took themselves really seriously. I think it's funny how those bands, whose members were often classically trained, tried so hard to be sophisticated and profound, and then Ian Anderson, a blues flute player with no musical education at all, beat them at their own game while making fun of them at the same time. Tull had a sense of humor about progressive rock which, combined with their overall superior musicianship, resulted ... Read More:

This George Thorogood collection is a great party CD, regardless of whether you drink like a fish or are totally clean and sober (as I am). While Stevie Ray Vaughan and Johnny Winter could play rings around him, George Thorogood created an intense modern blues style which I hope will influence others. If you saw the 1984 TV movie WHY ME? (based on a true story), in which the lead character's face is virtually destroyed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver, you might wish to skip the overt drinking songs on this CD and just listen to stuff such as "Gear Jammer", "Move It On Over", and "Who Do You Love?", but even if you don't agree with the lyrics of the alcohol songs, you can still enjoy the guitar playing and the grooves of this whole anthology. Sure, it goes a bit ... Read More:

AC/DC live is just like heaven, especially with original lead singer Bon Scott. Now I'm not at all saying that Brian Johnson isn't great; he is, but he can't hold a candle to Bon, in my opinion.
And this live record, originally released in 1978 on Atlantic but reissued on Epic in the early 2000s, proves how great AC/DC is. With songs like 'Whole Lotta Rosie,' 'Rock And Roll Damnation,' and 'High Voltage,' you know this album is gonna rock.
And, I think Epic did an awesome job remastering this. The sound quality is superb.
While Scott was alive, he made some mighty fine records with AC/DC. And 'If You Want Blood You've Got It' (which is one of the best live records ever put out, in my opinion) is one of the best records that AC/DC ever ... Read More:
