While you can get a few of the tracks from LAYLA on "Best Of" albums of Clapton classics, this album contains a host of lesser-known gems, such as "Anyday" and "Why Does Love Got to Be so Sad" -- and that last one has got to be the most up-tempo sad love song in history. I've owned LAYLA since the original vinyl release back, like, a million years ago. As music technology advances, I keep on buying it in every new format, because even though the tech changes, this album is always fresh.

My sister received this as a gift and she loves this cd. It takes her back to the old days when we were young and rocking out to Def Lepard. She turns it up loud in while she is driving in the car and acts like she thinks she is young again, I hope noone tells her different.

One could spend a lifetime an never can say enough about the fab four. The second of the series, this has the music that I my mind is the most creative period of the Beatles. To listen to the evolution of "Strawberry Fields" or any of the songs, is to hear how such musical genious is created. However, the song that stands out is the newly discovered "Real Love" which starts the cd. Poignant strains of piano and guitar haunt this melody. More so when you remember that John and George are no longer with us except in our hearts.

I thoroughly enjoyed the CD. However, someone got hold of my credit card info & charged over $600.00 on Amazon.com. Fortunately, my credit card company noticed the charges, informed me & put a block on any subsequent charges. Needless to say, I'm a little "gun-shy" after the experience. I was able to recoup the bogus charges but I had to create a new account, obtain a new credit card, etc. Any suggestions?

Slippery When Wet some think its the greatest album of all time but personally i think its just one of those albums you can just pass on as nothing. Whats so special about, "Let It Rock", oooh so they used synth and guitar and just played one note and than bon jovi's singing comes in who cares. The reason i give it two stars is because its okay i guess i mean livin on a prayer and wanted dead or alive is okay but besides that its too glammy. not great not good

While I love to brag that I discovered Def Leppard before the "Masses" did after Pyromania literally exploded on the scene, it truly doesn't matter when you discover them--only that you do. While 'High 'N Dry' remains (probably) my all-time favorite Leppard release, there is SO much to love about Pyromania that I hardly know where to begin...

To a large extent, 'Photograph' was the song that most people remember hearing first by these underrated English Metal Masters. Sure, it was an enormously HUGE hit, but remains one of my least favorite songs from their repetoire. The song from Pyromania that just *Did It* for me, was probably 'Rock, Rock 'Til you Drop'. Songs From The Sparkle Lounge is a very solid recording from this legendary outfit, known to the world as Def Leppard. No, this isn't Hysteria Part 2. Hysteria cannot be reproduced, but it can be revisited in a way that doesn't make them seen like they have lost their creativity. This record has strong echos from their 80's past, while still being fresh for the times we know as of now. And I myself am proud to say that they can write and record songs without their former legendary producer Mutt Lange. I respect the hard work they put into this new release. To me, it's the best recording since "Adrenalize". The sound quality and production is excellent. The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust

Ziggy is simply fantastic. It is a brilliant album.

1: Five Years-The opener is one of the best songs on the album, I love how easy this song is to sing along to

2: Soul Love-Another great song about diferrent types of love.

3: Moonage Daydream- Honestly, I hate this song. Its good, just when I first listened to this song, it was on a youtube video from a live concert in 1973. That version was six mintues long, with a face melting solo by Ronson. ( You can still see the video, type search on youtube for Moonage Daydream, HAMMERSMITH 73)

4.Starman- The albums single, very good song

5.It aint easy- Really loud!

6.Lady Stardust- Nice piano work, great vocals
