Ok, I was buying the Jamie's Crying mp3 and I noticed that Van Halen 1 only got 4.5 stars with 306 reviews. I had planned to sit back and ENJOY all of the samples but those 4.5 stars were a terrible reminder that something was seriously wrong with some people in this world. I do not mean that maliciously as I am not a malicious person. However, we are speaking of VAN HALEN 1 PEOPLE!!! This is probably the absolute best album of all time. This guys revolutionized just about everything in the business. If they didn't they might as well have because EVERYONE loved them.

this cd is good and has great songs like diary of jane, dance with the devil and unknown soldier but seems to be lacking something. i dont know what but i like their 2 other cds better. this cd doesnt have enough variety and the singing changed too much. i enjoyed them before, they didnt need to change so much but it is what it is. still a solid release and breaking benjamin fans will still like this cd.

For the price this is a great album, I highly recommend it. I also recommend the albums "Core" and "Purple" there are yet other great songs not listed on this album that can be found on them such as "Meat Plow", "Unglued" "Pretty Penny"

This album will indelibly be associated with one of my worst acid trips ever way back in the late 80s. There was this block party in college, and I ended up sitting in a room for four hours, listening to this repeatedly, along with Back In Black by AC/DC. Luckily, my friend had a great record collection.

I remember Kashmir scared me, but, for some reason, In My Time of Dying, calmed me, and made me think that even if I met the Grim Reaper that day, it wouldn't be all that bad. Ten Years Gone is an epic among epics; of which this album basically consists.
