I have found with some bands, (Extreme included), it takes repeated listens to appreciate and like. Unlike others, I eventually enjoyed Punchline. This one is also beginning to grow on me. I've listened to it 5 times in the last 2 days. One thing I have not seen mentioned is how unreadable the font used in the liner notes and the track listing is. I'll finish this after a few more listens.

Heart is one of my favorite groups - Ann Wilson can sing ballads such as "Dreamboat Annie","These Dreams" and "Dog and Butterfly", she can also handle hard rockers such as "Magic Man","Straight On" and "Barracuda" which has been used in the 2008 Presidential race. Interestingly, Senator Hillary Clinton earned more Votes than any Presidential Primary candidate in the history of America -The Denver Group.

If you're new to Oasis, then there's no better place to start than with(What's the Story) Morning Glory?, one of the best rock albums of the 1990s. Note by note, (What's the Story) Morning Glory? is musical perfection. 'Wonderwall' is perhaps the greatest Beatles-inspired ballad ever written, it's name taken from the title of George Harrison's first solo album Wonderwall Music. 'Don't Look Back In Anger' is equally fantastic. Even the lesser known songs are brilliant, 'Cast No Shadow' in particular. Then there's 'Champagne Supernova,' an epic in every sense of the word. (What's the Story) Morning Glory? is a rock 'n' roll masterpiece and when the last song has finished it is sure to leave you wanting more.

Some great songs (Her Strut/Rock & Roll Never Forgets) some lame fillers. Seger's stuff is not on iTunes, so not being able to buy individual songs forces you to buy whole CD's-a strategy that maximizes Bob's net worth-not yours.

This CD is excellent! It certainly brings back fond memories. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are a true Rock and Roll band that you do not find in this day and age.

About 37 years ago this guy could play the hell out of a guitar. But ever since 'I SHOT THE SHERIFF', it seems that maybe he was hit in the head by a van or a bus. It is an opinion that some people do not prefer his song writing. It is a fact that he is no longer the same guitar player. I have heard the same statement time and time again from fans of his latter material. It goes something like this: Well Clapton was tired of being labled God and sick of the guitar hero questions. For those who criticized this album for Kantner's vocals or not being the Jefferson Airplane of old, your opinions are rash. If you don't like Kantner's singing then never listen to Bob Dylan. Or if you can find a band exactly the same now as they were 40 years ago, please let us know. This album is just fine. It's mostly a folk album, the basics of what became the classic 60's sound, goes back to the days when the San Fran scene was still forming, well before stardom hit, unpretentious. Tree of Liberty may not be a classic, but it's refreshing. In a way it's reminiscent of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's "Will The Circle Be Unbroken". So if you don't like folk and expect to hear rock 'n' roll with psychedelic lights flashing in your imagination, go with something else. This ... Read More:

Totally Inventive... Tasteful & Utterly Amazing!
