What's really great about this album is that you don't even have to be a NIN fan to really enjoy it. The tracks all sound fabulous over a nice sound system and the production is breath-taking (as usual with any record that has the 'NIN' logo on it). Personally, things falling apart and y34rz3r0r3mix3d are the two best remix albums of all time. Almost a decade after it's initial release and I'm still listening to this beast, that must mean it's a good record, right?

I remember when I first heard this album - it was the first time I'd heard AFI before, but this was the first AFI record I ever owned. What more can one really say about it? It's just an absolute masterpiece. This band became legends when they released this album, and Gods when they released Decemberunderground. Both of them are probably the best rock albums that have come out in many years. "Sing The Sorrow" is flawless. Every song is great. One of the greatest albums ever recordeded.

Truly one of the most expansive and vocally intense albums. The Cult took the songs on this album and rocketed them to the moon. I have to say that "Edie" is my all-time fave, but the rest of the music is outstanding and if you had to buy just one CD from this group...get this one without a doubt.

I've been following Moonspell since 1995. Each of their albums has it's own feel to it, but they all have one thing in common: They're "organic." The music feels like it's alive. This one's no different in that respect! I'd have to say that Night Eternal has captivated me more than their others. The richness and complexity is amazing! It's a great blend of raw black metal, to a very surreal, very ambient music that I can't even classify. Get it!

There are some good songs on this CD and some what I would call "fluff". Take a Picture is probably the weakest of songs on the CD and I know that will be an unpopular stance, but it is definitely not representative of the entire album. For me the song that stands out the most is Skinny. It has the soft intro and verses that lead into a rocking chorus. This song, and many of the others are equal too or better than Hey Man Nice Shot, which should be expected of a follow-up album if the band has talent. I enjoy this album immensely.

The songs themselves are as good as everyone says, however, there's a major problem with the mastering on this collection! Some songs (e.g., "Close to Me") are so soft that I have to crank up the volume on my headphones to make out the words, and then when louder songs come on (e.g., "Friday I'm in Love"), my ears get blasted and I have to rush to turn it back down again. Not a fun listening experience, despite the brilliant tunes! I'd be interested to hear if people buying the CD version have the same problem or if it's just the mp3 album.

This CD is classic industrial music with all the demented twists Al Jourgensen brings (Al is short for Alien, if that explains anything).
The Cd is full of cutting metal sounding riffs but remains true to the industrial feel that Ministry has pioneered over the years. Ministry later beame a fully metal band and lost the industrial feel, and therefore, lost some of thier value to me, musically speaking.
The stuff done after this album is good, but not great and not something I care to listen to with any degree of frequency. In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up, The Land of Rape and Honey and this album remain my favorite Ministry albums.

This single is a great part of the Nine Inch Nails collection. I would say after buying all the major releases of theirs get this and "fixed" first. Closer to god, is not just another remix of closer, but a whole new version of the song. A lot heavier I might add. the other remixes on the cd are very god, 1 even is almost like an acoustic version. Also the album has "memrobilia" a soft cell cover.
