Even if fans of NIN's more abrasive side enjoy these bloated remixes oif choice tracks from TDS (there are a few choice remixes where the artist reworks some of that great disc's textures effectively), Reznor's insistence on repeating himself throughout exposes this as a cheap cash-in off of Spiral's critical and commercial success.

"If" is the newest and arguably the best MSI album. All the songs are very catchy... I mean, seriously, you will have them stuck in your head for DAYS.

Like I said, the only track I frequently skip is the last one, Mark David Chapman. I like the song, chorus is great, I just find the Spanish speaking parts annoying and boring. It is really the only track that is not absolutely perfect on the CD.

A lot of people are saying that this CD is bland, they get bored of it quick. Not for me. I have been listening to it constantly since I bought it about 3 or 4 weeks ago. It inspired me to go ahead and pick up "Frakenstein Girls" and "You'll Rebel to Anything".

This was one of the most-anticipated releases of '99, and it did not disappoint. "Denial" became a classic, mosh-inducing hit. Many other songs like "Blender", featuring Chino Moreno from Deftones, "Home", "Waffle" and "Rumble Fish" became fan favorites. While many bands struggle to release a sophomore album that matches the success of the first, 7Dust have grown as musicians and cemented themselves as legends in the heavy music scene. Every song is good. If you want to start at the beginning, check out their self-titled debut first. If you are new to 7Dust, they combine heavy riffs, chugging rhythms, and both harsh and soulful vocals.

For starters, no question this is Sevendust's best effort to date of all their albums. I absolutely loved every single song on this record, even though I've love anything these guys create musically, lol. Opening with a great sound called "Tits On A Boar", and follwoing that with their smash hit "Praise", probably my all time favorite song played by these guys, you just know this album is gonna be a treat. I literally still to this day can't get enough of this CD, and still listen to it all the time.

Nine Destinies and a Downfall

"Nine Destinies and a Downfall" is the third full-length album by Sirenia, the gothic metal band founded by Morten Veland in 2001 after his stint with Tristiana. It differs substantially from their earlier work, featuring female-fronted vocals almost exclusively. This is in sharp contrast to the male death grunts that dominated Sirenia's first two albums.

Because of this stylistic difference, "Nine Destinies and a Downfall" didn't appeal to many fans of Sirenia's previous work. However, fans of other female-fronted metal bands (such as Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, Eyes of Eden, and Nightwish) enjoyed the album quite a bit.

This album made me fall in love with old-school Goth music. Deep bass vocals, simple yet adequate music, great lyrics, but my biggest peeve are the drowned-out lyrics, which seems to be par with most music. Despite that last gripe you'll find they did a great job with this album.

Truly one of the most expansive and vocally intense albums. The Cult took the songs on this album and rocketed them to the moon. I have to say that "Edie" is my all-time fave, but the rest of the music is outstanding and if you had to buy just one CD from this group...get this one without a doubt.
