but this CD was horrible. I only listened to it once all the way through, so maybe it's one of those CDs that you have to get used to. Either way, I couldn't even imagine spending the time to listen to it again.

With how popular he is, maybe my expectations were too high. The lyrics are pretty ordinary, and his singing is annoying since it's the same on most every song. I was also disappointed with the guitar work, as I really appreciate a talented guitarist and was looking forward to discovering another great musician to listen to. Mayer is definitely overrated in this category.

I say "New Jersey's Bee Jays" because brothers Nicholas,Kevin and Joseph Jonas hail from New Jersey(I wish I knew exactly where,curiously because I'm a New Jersey native myself). This trio,I would say,is Hanson and the Bee Gees both in one. I always have been a Hanson and Bee Gees fan. As for the "Bee Jays",I once said that about the Jackson 5/Jacksons. A decade ago,Hanson was the biggest-selling artist in pop/rock music history and today the Jonases are in that place. Pre-teen and teenage girls went wild over Hanson and those now-20ish young women,I'm sure are fans of the Jonases as well. MMJ tries to create a innovative synthesis of musical styles and instead winds up with a mess of a record. "Highly Suspicious" is just flat out embarrassing and cringe-inducing. There are a couple decent tracks here but in general the song writing has taken a big step in the wrong direction. I'd happily give back the decent songs if they could make the truly awful ones go away as well.

This album is amazing- Bon Iver's music is a fantastic combination of acoustic blends and layers upon layers of warm harmonies. He sings with such passion that you want to listen to the entire album over and over again. I highly recommend this album.

There are some fantastic songs on these cd but there are some repetitious ones that i could live without . I give it 4 stars because the fantastic songs are worth listening , even that this is the most Eric Clapton composition style Steve has written . Buy a used cd so you wount feel so bad that only the first 5 songs are worth it ...
Common Stevie , 2 cds to make one ? . I mean It's about Time and 9 Lives could be a really good one ... I will wait for Comming of Age ...

I'm not much into speed metal, nu-metal or death metal. I like music that plays great and lyrics that make sense. After hearing Chop Suey and Toxicity, I knew I had to have this CD. Upon listening to the entire CD and comparing the lyrics and sheet music, I rated this as one of the best CD's to come along since Rush's Moving Pictures. As for it being catagorized as nu-metal, Amazon should replace who ever does that job. This is far from being nu-metal. It's more of a fusion of modern metal and progressive rock, leaning more toward the later. My suggestion is to add this to your collection. You won't be sorry.
