Well, this album definetely left an imprint on me the after listening to it the first time. I am only fourteen, so, like another reviewer said, I am a new age Beatles fan. But there's nothing wrong with that, right? Right. These four men ultimetely changed music forever. Paul, George, John, and Ringo have changed the face of the planet as we know it.


My personal favorite tracks are 1-19, but the other eight are also just as great! I personally like "Ticket To Ride" the best, at the moment. Whenever I hear that opening guitar, it always puts a smile on my face! Heck, whenever I hear a Beatles song, I always have to sing along. They were SO GREAT!!! Buy this album. You won't be sorry!!

Solo Acoustic, Vol. 2

If you have Solo Accoustic Vol 1 than you will enjoy Vol. 2. However if you dont own Vol. 1, I would suggest you buy it as it has more of the well known hits. Jackson Browne has great songs but this album is more of lesser known material. If you like accoustic music in general than you will really like this album.

When I first heard Amon Amarth I knew they were talented. They've grown exponentially through every album, layering the guitars and vocals to sound HUGE. This album has everything from the sing alongs they are famous for, to the intense death metal songs like "Twilight of the Thunder God."

The album features guest appearances from Children of Bodom, Entombed and Apocalyptica. But, they were built in such a way that they are repeatable live. Although, the guitar solo in "Twilight of the Thunder God" is going to be hard to do I'm sure.

The DVD that comes with the disk is also amazing. It features a live concert from Summer Breeze 2007 where they had a Viking ship on stage. Lots of pyrotechnics and fire. Overall ... Read More:

Songs for You, Truths for Me

I have been waiting for James to follow up his first album, Undiscovered, and was not disappointed after listening to this album. His style has definately matured since Undiscovered. This is such a talented young man whose passion for music radiates every track on this cd. Once again he has delivered songs that were written from the heart, and sung with soul. Take a minute to check him out, you wont be disappointed. Meanwhile, I will be waiting for his NEXT album release !!

'Guaranteed' is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. It makes my heart ache every time I hear it. The instrumentals, the vocal, the lyrics, they just send me. I was never a big Pearl Jam fan through the nineties, so don't expect any accolades or comparisons here. I "googled" Eddie Vedder just to find out who he was. I recently rented the dvd and the music has haunted me every since then. I bought the cd and enjoyed listening to it tonight. The 'hidden' track came on while I was busy cooking dinner and I had left the cd in play. I might never have known about it otherwise. This cd is as long as it needs to be. I enjoy listening to several different cds during the course of the evening, and 'Into The Wild' definitely makes it into my playlist. ... Read More:

Loyalty to Loyalty

The Cold War Kids first album, Cowards, showed me that new music does not always suck.

That said, this is a review for Loyalty to Loyalty. I appreciate the lyrics, diversity and lack of conformity of this album, however I find it hard to listem to. It feels likes it's caught between worlds, pop, art, poetry,...I support any artitst desire to experiment, grow and try different things, but for me this album just did not grab me like their first effort. While it would be hard for any band to match a debut album like "Cowards," this one did not even come close for me.
