My husband and I saw Chris Botti last weekend in Temecula, CA. He and his band delivery high quality entertainment. Catch them in person whenever you can. As for Italia, we just finished listening to this album for the third time -- in 3 hours. It is beautiful and moving. Nessum Dorma alone is worth the price.

The fact that this guy would probably be a hit with John Mayer fans is a blow to this guy, since John Mayer is easily one of the worst hacks making music (no, muzak) today. I was hinted to call this guy a slightly more interesting John Mayer with an acoustic guitar. Sure, it's not deep music, it won't start anything, but it's breezy, chill music (not muzak, thank god). It's definitely worth getting.

The sound of Jack Johnson is a good one, it will definitely relax you. It's a very chill album, but it's soothing and makes you feel good, than rather making you feel drowsy, bored, and wanting to rip your hair out. Theres so many different tracks I love on this album. Song's I didn't really pay attendtion the first time definately stand out now. I won't go to say this is my absolute favorite album from him because he's got so many good albums I like, but he did have some great tracks on this one!

"Highway To Hell" would be the album that put AC/DC on the map in the U.S., but would also be the last for lead singer Bon Scott who would die of alcohol poisoning shortly after the album's release. Scott always harnessed a playful nod and a wink sense of humor in his lyrics and vocals that would raise the level of the material up a few notches. You never got the feeling that he was taking himself too seriously. Musically in many ways AC/DC sticks to their patented formula, but on this album everything works very nicely. The title track became the band's first legit hit in the U.S. and remains one of the most famous classic rock guitar riffs to this day. Who We Are

Lifehouse is one of the better recent bands. This album is a very good collection.

It features good vocals and instrumentation. It contains several catchy songs. The better ones include the following: Disarray, First Time, Whatever It Takes, Who We Are, Broken, and Storm. The last two songs contain a spiritual and likely Christian theme. They are very good.

If you are not familiar with this group, 'Who We Are' is worth a listen. I also think that their previous album, 'No Name Face' is rather good.

Ten Thousand Fists

I think all the songs on this are well done...they have melodies which a lot of other hard rock/metal doesn't. I have Indestructible and The Sickness also. Indestructible has guitar solos which i like, but i like the songs better on Ten Thousand Fists. I'm not a great music critic but I think if you like disturbed then you need to have this album.

Oh, and shame on whoever tagged this as alternative rock.
