Each album by DCB is just a little different. This one really mixed it up from what I was expecting. It to me not as user friendly as their earlier stuff, but we all grow in different directions.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD (Not Great), BUT VERY GOOD COUNTRY BLUEGRASS HOMECOMING CONCERT DVD. The atmosphere, or at least the background props are great and go along with the music performed. I have mixed feelings about the rating on this "Homecoming series", I agree somewhat with the first reviewer who gave it a 2 star rating. However, it's one of those dvd's that seems to grow on you the more your watch it. It does have some "gems" in it.

It consists of 21 songs, and a song during the credits part.

This project was so powerful! I am one of the sopranos on this album! This is a very spirit filled and anointing cd! You really are in the presence of God! Bishop Morton, Trenton Phillips, William Murphy, and the whole entire Full Gospel Staff did a great job! Alabama is on the map!

I just find it very hard to listen to so-called Christian music that could easily have been made by any feel good, positive message secular artist. I do not doubt that Toby Mac is a Christian, but his music does not effectively portray the message of the Gospel of God.

I browsed through five or so of the song lyrics from this album, and I saw the word Jesus one time ("freaky Jesus stuff you do"), and it was not giving Him any glory, but more showing how secular people get annoyed by Christians preaching the good news. It seems to me that the lyrics to these songs are more aimed at promoting diversity and feeling good than anything else. Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir has truly out-done themselves in the Lord. The only thing that separates them from the heavenly choir is that they're here on earth giving praise to God. In "We Fill the Sanctuary", they sing in Spanish with a Salsa-style beat. It's glorious!!!

Iam more into Blues & Jazz & I stumbled on this music coz I was looking for Cool Water on You tube, but hearing this rainbow of perfectly tuned voices singing in such harmony that gives one the hope of what heaven feels like....I'm completely hooked.

Let me begin by placing a few statements on the table. To begin, I like David Phelps - he has an incredible voice and a strong musical talent along with a very likable personality. Second, I am not accustomed to reviewing musical albums, so I probably won't have the necessary insight which better qualifies others for this job.

Having said that, ever since I received the much-anticipated new release from David Phelps I knew that something had to be said. David is probably the best musician who's never found a great album. Aside from projects with the Gaither Vocal Band, he has struggled along trying to find some musical focus to what he's released. And The Voice is a monumental step backwards on his journey.
