Okay, if I were looking for a CD of music that I enjoy I would not buy this. However, this collection of music is a purchase for my 18 month old daughter - and she LOVES it!

She especially loves hearing the children sing...yes, bad pronunciation and all. What children don't love to hear other children??? I'm not sure what another reviewer was listening to that made her feel the children on the CD's were not enjoying themselves. The children I heard seemed to be having a ball.

The entire collection of songs seem to be very upbeat and fun, without being obnoxious or overdone. Like many other reviewers' children, my daughter has memorized many of the songs. She also loves to flip through her Mother Goose book to find ... Read More:

This is my favorite Enya music for a long time. I enjoy all her sounds, but this album is special. It's really her best for a long time. I recommend this CD.

Not a bad song on any of these CDs!! They all bring to mind a sultry evening in some spanish-speaking part of the world. Lilting lyrics, fast and slow conga rythms with impeccable spanish guitar work. CD#1 of the "The Very Best of..." is raucous and fast-paced, while disk #2 is more gentle and relaxing. You will have images of banana and palm trees swaying in the breezes while you relax in some spanish hacienda,cafe or cantina. Break out the premium hand-made cigars and pour up the rum or tequilla!! The Gipsy Kings are an awsome band and will bring any party to life. These CDs are "must-haves" for any serious cigar aficianado!

MCMXC A.D.--Enigma's debut album--was released in 1990. The seven compositions are seamless and play like an extended piece. The material is in a New Age musical direction. The album's sound quality is pleasing. I have always enjoyed listening to this piece of work over the years. Words to characterize MCMXC A.D. would be mysterious, refined, smooth, and creative. I like every one of the tracks. The Gregorian chants, the sounds of the flute, and the pulsating beats are what I find most memorable about this album. The disc is just over 40 minutes. MCMXC A.D. is recommendable.

For what it is, a meditation CD, this is a perfect offering. The lady's voice is incredibly beautiful, the melodies are haunting and uplifting, and the significance behind the words is both meaningful and calming. Though it is definitely repetitious, mantras sung over and over, I have listened to it probably 50 times so far, know the words by heart, can sing the harmonies to her tracks, all levels, and find it lends to repeated hearing. I first heard it played very softly at my yoga class, and it caught my attention enough that I asked about the artist, then ordered the CD for myself. I love it. Ottmart Liebert music is usually a pleasure to listen to. An this last album is among the best he has realeased along with Winter Rose, Poets and Angels. He understand the music and the "moods" that goes with it. A must listen to.

I have this CD and a few others. Every now and then I like to check for new releases. What I would like to know is WHERE ARE THE TRACK SAMPLES???!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM?? I listen to songs before I decide to buy, so if you want to sell a CD, then put them back.

Enya sitting on a golden throne?
A little pretentious I think.
Enya conquered the world with Sheppard Moon and Watermark.
I think she got too cocky and careless with this one.
She tried to replicate the sound of those albums and comes up short.
The disc comes across and dull and uninspired.
I was hoping the next disc would be a return to form.
Sadly, Enya seems content to make the same album over and over and over................. each one as unmemorable and uninspired as the one before it.
