We love this CD. Our baby falls asleep to this CD, nurses to this CD, plays on her playmat with this CD. It is a very nice flowing CD and my husband and I both love to hear the guitar as well. So nice for adults too.

OMG this man is the best. Hands down the best salsa artist ever...
This concert will get you moving. He has an amazing voice, and charisma like nobodys business. Even Rosie Mcdonald and Julia Roberts made it!
I guess they know good stuff when they see it. Terrific DVD, I can't wait till I see another concert!

Deva Premal - meditation music. WOW !!! What can I say. I have been listening to Deva's cd's for years now, and she continues to be my personal favourite of this genre of music. All of her cd's are beautiful, healing, pure and immediately bring you into a state of universal consciousness. This particular cd is a collection of her softer mantras, and it is ideal for meditation. This collection of songs does not seem as crisp or fresh as either of Tinariwen's earlier releases. But, I have seen them live twice since their last album came out, and nothing can match the energy, intensity of this group live. The album is a good solid effort; I'm enjoying listenting to it. If you are a Tinariwen fan, so will you.

Fans of the old Warren Miller ski films (before he left the enterprise) may remember "The Mountains Win Again" playing over the closing credits of one of his better films from the 90s... since that moment, this has captured perfectly for me the particular retro-hippie innocence of the era. I'm partial to the ballads, mainly because BT never really matched their heartfelt vibe and formal studio production in earlier or later work. They freeze a point in time, and if you ever took a road trip or sat on the hill in the car with your date in the early 90's, they probably freeze it for you too.

I love this cd! I do yoga to the first track and the third, but the second track isn't quite so good for yoga. That's why I gave it four stars. During the second track bells suddenly start going off. Cool if you're just listening to it. But during yoga, it shattered my concentration. Otherwise it's an amazing cd, I recommend it.

A light and pleasant CD, ideal for driving. It is a mix of old and new popular music from Italy of the kind you might hear in a cafe. By "old" I mean the 1950s; by "new" I mean the last ten years.

There is no lyric sheet either in Italian or English, just a short description of the story line, if any. The songs are all light and about love and music, so it's not all that hard to figure them out. Sound quality is good for the newer recordings.

I stumbled upon this CD in my quest for finding good, danceable music to practice my fledgling dancing skills...I am very pleased! The music is a grooving mix of percussion, electronic, and traditional sounds with some great musical surprises that can lend themselves well to choreography. I look forward to more innovative sounds coming from this group. :) Happy listening!
