I was skeptical of this band a while now, being weary of all things hipster and hyped. I love good electronic music though, be it ambient, idm, 80's style dance. As with many trends, I jump on the bandwagon a bit late, but I'm so glad I didn't miss this one. Luckily my local library had this and I took it out and gave it a few listens and was immediately engaged. Every so often a release drops and makes your ears perk. This is definitely one of 'em. Forever a fan. I still have the "Ray of Light" cassette tape I bought in 98', along with the ROL CD and of course a few single remixes from this album. Timeless and classic. Every single song on this CD stands out on its own merit and artistic value. Each song blends and molds perfectly for what I consider to be her greatest masterpiece so far.

For ten years now I have been listening to this CD and not once have I got bored or tired of it. Each play is like hearing it for the first time and falling in love with it all over again. The videos that accompanied the songs from this album only highlight how "full on" in harmony she was for this entire project. Everything was as it should be. And it glowed radiantly, still does.

Product came in 3 days. Plays all but last song on CD. Contacted the seller a week ago about the problem but have received no answer from them. Not their fault as it was sealed and new but the Customer Service seems to suck.

Out of the 7 Pure '80s CD's: Pure '80s #1, Pure '80s Hits, Pure '80s, More Pure '80s, Pure '80s Love, Pure '80s Rock, Pure '80s Dance, the original has the best hits of the '80s on it. The DVD series of Pure '80s is based on this 1980's music series. This is preformed by the original singers and it doesn't seem to have gay music on it. My top songs are Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This ( Eurythmics ), One Thing Leads To Another ( Fixx ), Obsession ( Animation ), Tempted ( Squeeze ). Pure '80s is a popular CD series and they have better than the others. '80s CDs that are by the countdown or starlite singers aren't the original and way worse. There are 20 songs on this and the number of songs decrease as it goes into the series. This is the first Pure '80s CD.

Pure Disco has twenty-one great tracks on it that anyone from the days of disco will remember fondly! This is the music people heard in the clubs as they danced their cares away on many a Saturday night. The music on this CD is excellent; and the quality of the sound is also very good. The artwork is great!

The Village People start things off big with their smash disco hit entitled "Y.M.C.A." "Y.M.C.A." has an awesome beat and it just might even make your kids want to dance to it! "Y.M.C.A." is classic disco and a great choice to start off this album. Abba's "Dancing Queen" is yet another great number from the golden days of disco; it may have a somewhat slower beat than other songs do but it still is great dancing music. Functioning exactly as its title promises, "Discography" covers the singles released by The Pet Shop Boys in the span from 1985's "West End Girls" to 1991's "Was It Worth It." While in England, they ran up a string of hits worthy of superstar status, in the US, their run of chart luck ended with 1988's "Domino Dancing" (from Introspective). Perhaps it was their very dry British sensibilities, maybe it was homo-phobia, but listening to this set from start to finish really does make you wonder why these great singles failed to find a home on American Radio.
