MCMXC A.D.--Enigma's debut album--was released in 1990. The seven compositions are seamless and play like an extended piece. The material is in a New Age musical direction. The album's sound quality is pleasing. I have always enjoyed listening to this piece of work over the years. Words to characterize MCMXC A.D. would be mysterious, refined, smooth, and creative. I like every one of the tracks. The Gregorian chants, the sounds of the flute, and the pulsating beats are what I find most memorable about this album. The disc is just over 40 minutes. MCMXC A.D. is recommendable.

Michael Jackson is amazing at everything he does. The Dangerous Tour showcases some of his best moves with songs like Smooth Criminal, Billie Jean, and Jam. The vocals and melodies of songs such as Human Nature, Heal The World, and Man In The Mirror are captivating.

DVD quality audio and video, this DVD is worth the money you have. The only thing that would have made this better if they had some extras. Perhaps some behind the scenes stuff or something.

I saw Alive 2007 twice once at Red Rocks theater is Colorado and the 2nd time at Vegoose 2007 in Las Vegas. Both times Daft Punk had an amazing performance and while the CD can't give the full experiance of having the light show, this CD has great quality sound and is Daft Punk's best CD. I've literally listened to this CD over 100 times and I still think it's the best music I've ever heard.

Instead of going in depth on each album and describe each album in detail, i'm going to simply rate each album with how many stars I feel each album is worth based on the below criteria. I hope this helps you make a better decision on purchasing this album with a simple individual rating. If it doesn't help read another review.
5 stars- Classic, Album goes beyond description, Perfect in every way, Could remind you of a certain time or place, Lifetime replay value.
4.5 stars- Near Classic, Incredible album, Maybe only one song that is skippable or just overall doesn't quite deserve classic status. High replay value.

Ok, I just bought Singles 86-98, which has one disc of good++ music and one disc I don't care for. I would have thought this compilation would have been a good way to occupy the blank space on the jewel case after I throw out Disc 2 of Singles 86-98, but this compilation DOES NOT have "Blasphemous Rumours", which is the only good song missing from Singles 86-98. this is like that Cure "Greatest Hits" CD released in 2001, that had a bunch of random songs, missing arguably the definitive Cure song - "Pictures of You". I wouldn't go so far as to say "Blasphemous Rumours" is THE DEFINITIVE DM song, but it's a much better song than "Just Can't Get Enough".

Beck takes it up a notch with another collection of mostly great songs with the Dust Brothers in full support. As always the fans are divided. Many love this cd and others dismiss it. Beck is not going to stay stuck in a genre and create the same kind of musical experience. You have to be willing to go on his trip with him. Lots of terrific music here.

I was skeptical of this band a while now, being weary of all things hipster and hyped. I love good electronic music though, be it ambient, idm, 80's style dance. As with many trends, I jump on the bandwagon a bit late, but I'm so glad I didn't miss this one. Luckily my local library had this and I took it out and gave it a few listens and was immediately engaged. Every so often a release drops and makes your ears perk. This is definitely one of 'em. From start to finish it's a gem. It's hard to believe it's been over a decade since TIME Magazine heralded the Chemical Brothers (alongside Prodigy, Fluke, Orbital, and others) as stateside ambassadors of "electronica". False hopes cluttered up expectations, but even as many groups (often 2- and 3-member duos, if not lone bedroom musicians) faded along the way, the Chems kept pounding on new doors, bursting beyond their original badge of "big beat" to encapsulate a sound that could, in the end, only be their own (and often-imitated it was!).

It's convenient to have many of their big singles on here, altho I would've sequenced them differently -- "Block Rockin' Beats" is such a wake-up standout that I wonder why it was placed 3rd. Also, it isn't entirely clear whether this is the 1 ... Read More:
