Bought this for my sister who was really into the Spice Girls at the height of their fame. I've listened to it with her and there are a couple of good songs but I was in my late 20's when this came out so it was a bit past my interest level. Music and vocals are ok. If you are a SG fan, you will like this cd.

It's the first time I've listened to Danity Kane. At first the dance-like beats struck me and the music made me feel like dancing to a fast R&B style, but then I became overwhelmed with the number of voices and sounds overlapping. It just felt like too much, each voice repeating the same word over and over until it sounded like a slightly chaotic echo. At the same time, I still think the beats are really catchy, and I think it's a good CD to listen to in the car or whenever you need some up-beat music.

To my surprise, when I first heard this cd, on amazon, I liked a few of the songs. I bought the cd, I listened to the whole thing, I was addicted to it. It is very different. Very poppy,with different sounds to it. I think that Justin will have a bigger carrer as a solo artist then in a boy band. I recommend this cd to anyone who likes music like Michael Jackson or Prince.

It's been a while since these ex-boy banders registered on the pop culture meter, but here they are, fourteen years after their last album, with a few "distinguishing" wrinkles and less hair, but still sounding pretty good having updated their sound and rhythms.

All things considered, this is a pretty good album of solid tracks, even though some of the lyrics clearly belong to a younger generation. Guest artistes include Ne-Yo, Akon, The Pussycat Dolls and fellow 80's group New Edition.

The first single "Summertime" is the one that caught my attention, and I stuck around for "Single" the next release, featuring Ne-Yo. Other good tracks are the dance numbers "Big Girl Now" featuring Lady Gaga, and "Grown Man" with The Pussycat ... Read More:

Emiliana Torrini's last album was all wistful folk. Before that, it was all equally wistful electronic pop and the creepily pretty closing song to "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers."

But before all that, she dabbled happily in everything from jazz to J-pop, raw-throated indie-rock to the blues -- and she did a pretty good job at all of them. And while her fifth album "Me and Armini" doesn't quite explore EVERYTHING she's done before, Torrini slips back comfortably into some of the musical niches she has already carved. Her delicate pop is flavoured by tinges of other styles and genres, and sometimes those other sounds (as in "Gun") overwhelm it completely.
