While there are some good songs out there (like Cake's openning cut). The album fell a little flat for me and the kids barely notice the CD. I think we are all spoiled on Dan Zane CD's - they really grow on you.

Noisy britpop from the 90s, an alternative to US Grunge from the same era, ill-bred children and, of course, a very british Beatlesque touch contribute to build up a good modern rock album supposedly meant to last and remain as one of the classics forever along with releases from Rolling Stones, Beatles or Led Zeppelin. Actually it includes the so-called 'best rock and roll song of all times' (based on a local radio survey), "Wonderwall", which just makes it worth listening.

Trivia: even Coca Cola did not wanted to detach from the album's success by suing the band for plagiarism, claiming that one of the songs was very similar to a famous 80's jingle they had... which was it?

Everytime I listen to this album it takes me back to my high school days. I recommend this to anyone who was a teenager in the mid to late 90s. If you enjoy this alum, I also recommend buying the music video collection dvd.

You want anything good that's acoustic guitar? Get something by Nick Drake or Andrew Collins (or Mandolin, but close), Elliot Smith, Dave Matthews Band (as long as it's not everyday, ick), R.E.M. heck, the Beatles have an arsenal of wicked, beautiful acoustic guitars. He's retiring, by the way.

Can I get a "HELL YES"!!!!

Probably the only rap-metal album that honestly qualifies as any good, and definitely the most violently liberal album I've ever heard in my life. Not like I mind, of course. But if you don't agree with the politics, it'll probably hurt your enjoyment of the album. Enough of that, though. The point is that this band is awesome. Especially guitarist Tom Mollero, who comes up with brilliant riffs throughout and throws in all kinds of innovative, crazy solos that don't sound like they're coming from a guitar. The solo on "Killing in the Name" sounds like it could've came from a synthesizer, for instance. The stuff he pulls on "Take the Power Back" sounds like turntable work or something, his solo on "Bullet in the Head" seems a lot like a clavinet, and the squeals on "Fistful ... Read More:
