Oh, the fun that could be had with this album. Saw them at Lollapalooza and as a live band they have a lot of work to do. The album though, basically requires a party asap! Love it, love it, love it. Can I say it enough? I don't think so. Way to go Black Kids, we love ya!

The one time my friend and I caught his live show, we were put through hours or boring chat from Mr. Mraz. People come to hear you sing Jason, not jabber on muchadoaboutnothing. I'm not sure if he was drunk, or other, but his sets were boring and it made me realize so is his music. Good voice, but learn to take it more seriously.

Jagged Little Pill

This album, "Jagged Little Pill", is the best that Alanis has put out to date. In this CD she is a girly version of Mike Muir a.k.a. Cyco Miko, pissed off and looking for confrontation. Gotta love the "Cross eye'd bear" track; One of her best! Over all a very relaxing listening album, like "Agent Orange", or "Devo".

While there are some good songs out there (like Cake's openning cut). The album fell a little flat for me and the kids barely notice the CD. I think we are all spoiled on Dan Zane CD's - they really grow on you.

while much can be said about the decline in the music industry this album represents the death of rock music in the ninties. This album compared to the great rock albums of the seventies surely shows the lowering of musical talent through the decades. most of the songs you can't understand and what little you can does not make any sense. there is little artistic value in this cd

To elaborate on the title, this was the first Weezer album I'd ever heard. I liked it, though parts of it sounded dated (I was going for that, anyway). But after hearing Blue and Pinkerton, I'm not sure how I feel anymore. On one hand, its decently catchy pop, but on the other, it doesn't come anywhere near the previously mentioned albums. The stand-out tracks would have to be "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived", "Pork and Beans", and "The Angel and the One". The rest is fairly forgettable, but its not BAD, like a lot of people say. Could be a grower in the months and years to come.

Nobody really actually enjoys listening to Radiohead. They just pretend to so that they appear to be hip or intelligent. I guess if a bunch of random noise put together to appear "deep" is your thing you should buy this album. If you have any taste stay far away. Thom Yorke is also the AntiChrist.

No filler, indeed: The album just keeps gliding from one perfectly crafted pop song -- performed wonderfully -- after another. The Smithereens not only walk the fine line between covering the material faithfully and letting their own style through -- they dance all over it. Nothing else to say, this is one of those albums that pull me back in just when I'm ready to give up considering new music.
