This album has it all, big anthemic radio-friendly smashes, Dark, emotional and personal ballads and more catchy hooks than you can ever wish for! I was already a fan of Kelly Clarkson and was anticipating the release of Breakaway months in advance and even I couldn't have imagined anything this good. It's most definately one of those albums you can leave on and not skip any tracks and still find yourself singing along to every single track.
1. Breakaway - The opener, co-written by Avril Lavigne is anthemic and to be honest better live when the crowd sing it back but still a nice easy opener if a little decieving. Personally my least favorite on the album. 7/10

I take that back: a must watch, period! This music DVD contains 2 discs with material recorded during the band's 2006 homecoming tour through Iceland. The music and songs are wonderful. I have this CD in my car and listen to it over and over. It is especially well done. I am enjoying every song the more I listen to them. "The Prayer" with Charlotte Church is one you can sing to.

As I've said before, I feel like the only 18 year old kid who loves this type of music! The soundtrack to American Graffiti is awesome! It has classics such as Rock Around the Clock, 16 Candles, Runaway, That'll Be the Day, At the Hop, The Great Pretender, Ain't That a Shame, Johnny B. Goode, Party Doll, Only You, and much more!!! My parents grew up with this music, and they played it when I was a kid, now that I'm older, I still love them! If you love Golden Oldies, you'll love the AMERICAN GRAFFITI SOUNDTRACK!!!

There are so many lesser-known and lesser-popular artists out there who receive lots of praise or are deemed incredible when they are anything but. Ledisi on the other hand, is totally deserving of the praise. This album features top-notch production and vocals. These are well-chosen tracks and range from very melodic and upbeat to somber. I bought this album from iTunes randomly for no particular reason and had it for a few months before I just started playing it. I have been listening to it since. The songs are easy to catch on to and the album flies by in no time because it's such a great listen.

Do yourself a favor and buy this, odds are you'll be a fan.

I first heard of Amy Winehouse like a lot of people in the US did. In the news with nothing but negative comments about her personal life. But when it came to the music I always heard praise on the album. i first heard the single "Rehab" and did not think to much of the song at first. After watching the VMA in Las Vegas I decided to give the album a chance. I was hooked instantly by the souldful sound of Amy Winehouse. It was a voice that I have not heard since the Motown days of music. It seemed like I listened to that album like everyday. Than I actually heard that Frank was her best and debut album. I try to avoid watching concerts for the fear of being distracted from the music by lights, fashion, and fake dramatics. Watching Bocelli's concert definitely changed my mind about television viewing of concerts.

It's hard to select the best song, but the great performance of "CANTO DELLA TERRA" with Sarah Brightman, "VIVERE" with Laura Pausini and "LA VOCE DEL SILENZIO" with Elisa surely stand out, so much so that they became my favorite night lullabys. Maybe it's only me, but I couldn't help noticing that Brightman and Bocelli are old friends that very much enjoy working together.
