This is a great DVD, although I wasn't aware of the butchering of The Electric Co, incidentally the best song on Boy and my personal fave.
Too bad - all over royalties?
Anyway, if you're a fan of the Boy album, as I am, and have been waiting for years to see these songs performed live, this is it.
An Cat Dubh, Twilight, A Day Without Me, I Will Follow, Out of Control - all here.
An Cat Dubh - what a phenomenal tune - takes me back to 1980.
Or was it 1979?
Not to mention Party Girl and the great 11 o'clock Tick-Tock.
And The Electric Co still sizzles with The Edge laying down those ending power chords over and over, waiting for Bono to get back on stage and finish the song proper.

I have been listening to and tracking the development of the band since When Dream and Day Unite. Although this DVD/CD collection is good, it does not encompass the best performances by the band. Although the melody players--Rudess and Petrucci--hit all of the notes, I'm not sure they still listen to each other anymore. On most of the songs, the band does not sound as tight as they did in past tours. No comments are necessary for Portnoy, who has the biggest ego of any drummer I've seen, or Myung, who as always is the quiet, most skilled anchor of this band. (Lifting Shadows off a Dream, one of the few songs Myung wrote, remains one of their best songs.) Finally, the most disappointing aspect of the performances was LaBrie's voice. With his range ... I bought this DVD mainly to listen and view my Chicago favorites. They open the show with EWF and start off with Beginnings which has been one of my all time favorite Chicago songs if not the all time favorite. It almost goes downhill after that. I would have not chosen to open the show with that song. That one should have been at the end or on one of the encores. Nonetheless, they play a couple of other songs together than they break off. EWF gets to play first and then Chicago takes the stage and then they join together again as in the beginning. Earth Wind and Fire steal the show and they are tighter musically.
