Being in my mid-twenties, I'll admit that my generation is more familiar with "Three Amigos" era Steve Martin, more so than "Wild & Crazy Guy" era Steve Martin. However, having seen him do SNL in the 70's (thanks to the DVDs) I was very interested and curious to hear this album.

The first thing I noticed was that the audio quality is quite poor. It's often VERY hard to hear what he's saying on stage. I usually listen to comedy albums when taking long road trips, and I had to max out the volume in my car to be able to hear at times. Secondly, some of his visual stick doesn't translate well to audio. However, since I managed to get this on a wicked awesome sale from Amazon, I got my money's worth of laughs and entertainment.

I have a few different relaxation CD's for bedtime and THIS is the one my boys ask for. Both my 4 year old and 7 year old love it and I love to listen to it while I'm cuddling with them. It's a good length for each meditation with beautiful relaxing music in between each story. Of all the bedtime CD's this is the best I've found. The whole family enjoys listening to it for bedtime for the stories, music and relaxation excercises. It's great! If you want to buy only one CD for bed time, I'd recommend this one.

I have all of Fawnia's DVDs and I also received my Instructor Certification through her in Las Vegas. Not only is she probably THE most knowledgable pole dance instructor in the USA, she is down to earth and genuinely helpful to ALL her students.
This is a fabulous beginner's DVD and she makes sure to point out proper movement so newbie's don't hurt themselves.
Once you're done with the DVD, pack you bags and go to Vegas to her Pole Fitness Studio for live lessons!

A top notch DVD. Andy Bloch is great at explaining and teaching in this video. The DVD takes you through Basic Strategy, card counting, betting and MIT style team play to make some real money. The whole production is nicely put together and presented. This DVD is ideal for begginers to the game BlackJack. Beating BlackJack is a fine addition to anyone's gambling library.

One of the funniest standup albums ever. John doesn't just say
funny things, he says things funny: his delivery (shouting a la
Sam Kinison at times) is perfect. As a chubby man myself (273
pounds) and a fellow Bostonian, I can identify with him. He pokes
fun at skinny people who "browse" the buffet (hey! Grab, and move!)
and his own "cherub like demeanor". You might think this is the type
of album you might only play once or twice. I say, nay, nay. It's
just as funny upon repeated listens!

I was also surprised to have discovered this CD. I am an avid Beatles' fan to say the least, so I am often weary of buying anything but, but when I first heard In My Life from this album I felt goosebumps all over.
The Beatles' ageless melodies are treated very creatively and respectfully here. Brilliant melodies that come strangely alive on this CD.

i grew up listening to cheech and chong, and this was one of my favorites, my parents used to play it on long road trips and i remember laughing in the back seat of the car at sister mary elephant and ralph and herb, so many classic moments, it may be juvenile humor, but its some of the most sophisticated juvenile humor out there, even today, and it stands the test of time! unless your a borish snob like the reviewer who gave this 1 star, your gonna love it
