There are a couple songs that may take some time to win you over (I'm thinking of "Pancreas" and "Weasel Stomping Day" in particular) but even so, this is a fairly solid album from the paragon of parody. It's not the instant classic that some of his other albums were (such as "Even Worse" or "Off the Deep End") but it does eventually work its way under your skin. You'll find yourself humming sections of "Trapped In The Drive-Thru" while you're waiting "at the pay window, ... or whatever you call it."

Okay, first I will say that we REALLY enjoyed the DVD. We had not seen that particular act before. It was very funny.
Now as for the CD, well, I am disappointed in Amazon because NO WHERE in the product description does it state that this CD has explicit content. When I got it in the mail the CD had a PARENTAL ADVISORY label on it that shocked me. Since we own Beyond the Pale and love it, I figured this one would be fine. Nope. I debated about opening it. I really considered returning it. But, I ended up opening it and listening to it. I lost count how many times he drops the F word. One test of an album is, how many times do I want to listen to it? I listened to this one five times before I took a break. That's a lot for me. Usually I'm relieved to get through a new album so I can go back to something I really like. I switched to The Brian Blade Fellowship's Season of Changes for comparison, but I couldn't get through it before I had to go back to Invisible Cinema for another listen. There are at least four things that make this album so satisfying to me. First, there is the physical quality of the playing.
