If you have Solo Accoustic Vol 1 than you will enjoy Vol. 2. However if you dont own Vol. 1, I would suggest you buy it as it has more of the well known hits. Jackson Browne has great songs but this album is more of lesser known material. If you like accoustic music in general than you will really like this album.

Who dosen't like Led Zeppelin? Really, who? I once knew a co-worker who said he couldn't stand Robert Plant's voice, and I guess that could be somewhat understandable if you're focusing on the band's latter years when Plant got a bit whinny. But I'm sure Mr. Brian Alandar (that was his name) couldn't argue with Plant's incredible register climb near the end of "How Many More Times," the song that closed the group's debut album. That small section alone confirms Plant's vocal prowess and justifies his position as one of rock's greatest singers! This Grateful Dead simply is some of the best to come out of The Vault. The band is tight and smooth, perfect in all aspects. I have all the Dick's Picks and other live releases, this stuff really stands out. The Road Trips 1978 show that was played at Winterland a few days later is smokin too. This is a must for the Deadhead. Keep jamming America.

If you've never heard of CSN and you want to get an idea what these guys are all about, pick this up. Granted, it doesn't have the classics with Neil Young, but that's all right. These guys rock as either a three piece or a four piece vocal band. You can enjoy some good old-fashioned folk/protest rock from one of the original bands that did that kind of music. There's a bit of everything here. I'm really too young to see these guys in their true heyday (call it '68 to early 80s), but they are still relevant 40 years after their debut album. I have to agree almost word for word with Mr. Cadagan. Having been a fan of R. C. for a long time and have always awaited his new efforts, some hit, some don't, like most artist, this doesn't quite get there. His song writing is thoughtful and close to being thought provoking but not as vibrant as the last several efforts. I will have to say I like his uptempo releases the best. This comes close to putting me to sleep. Maybe I can find the right mood for it and maybe after a couple more listens it will grow but I have my doubts.
