I've been a longtime fan of Dean's music and using it for massage and relaxation. I was curious to see what this DVD was like since I have not come across anything like it before. I love the music on the cd and we have a TV in our reception area at our Spa. We put the DVD on and the footage and sound together is both mesmerizing and gorgeous. It sets up a very relaxing atmosphere which I love about it. The scenery is fantastic. I've heard that this is being in army medical hospitals to help veterans returning from combat with PTSD. I can see why it would help. It is very peaceful and meditative.

there is a scream like sound in this cd - i had to get up and shut it off to make sure someone was not screaming outside! haven't used it since!

Great sounds. I love the "under the waves" part. It has one part "above the waves" and the other is "under the waves". Very relaxing.

I really enjoy this CD. When my little brother first bought it, I didn't like the idea that the first track was a half and hour long. However, when I listened to it, I really came to enjoy it and bought it for myself. I can't describe nature music like I would Final Fantasy (ie FF S Gen, FF Celtic Moon, FF IX, etc) because you definitely have to be able to enjoy classical mixed with nature. There's really no inbetween, but rather it depends on your preference. If you enjoy listening to waves crashing up against the rocks, then this is definitely the CD for you.

This CD is an awesome journey through the swamps of Louisiana. It has a great sound and when I close my eyes I feel transported to the swamps. I also like the version with music added: CYPRESS MAGIC (Tranquility Series)

I got this only because, when I was a kid, I was always seeing this reflective pair of sunglasses on the inner sleeves of A&M albums, peering out at me like a stoned-out come on. Some albums you buy for the cover.

Well, the music here is very tasteful easy-listening. The orchestration is heavy but not sappy, and the vocals have a nice, light-jazz flavor. At times it reminds me of Curt Boucher, but it is not as edgey or adventurous. This is stuff that could sit with the Beatles and Mammas and Papas on AM radio and not sound out of place-a nice, unique little bridge between more popular top 40 songs.

Nice music and interesting as a time-capsule. It is 12 bucks, so buy it.

I bought this cd almost ten years ago. I was in a car accident a few years later and it was unfortunately destroyed. I knew I had kept the cd cover and stuck it in a box, but I couldn't find it all this time. I've searched for the cd online over the years, but could never find this specific "thundering rainstorm". Then, today I was going through boxes because I am moving, and I found it! I am so happy! I used to listen to this cd every night to help me go to sleep... I can still remember that one point in the cd where the thunder strikes kind of loud and it makes you feel like it's actually a thundering rainstorm outside. I can't wait to buy this cd and fall to sleep listening to it again. :)
