I have several drumming albums from these guys as well as the 20th anniversary album, Sacred Drum Visions: 20th Anniversary Collection, and I have to say, though they have always been awesome, they grow more exciting and mesmerizing with each album. I love this particular collection because it shows this transformation so smoothly and brilliantly and over so many years. And the DVD? WOW! What a great idea that was. I hope they keep these treasures flowing.

I bought this for my kids something to go with quiet time ...it's very relaxing. Recording seems so real as if I am actually on the beach...Served the purpose of relaxation.

Sounds of Music and Nature Sampler is a very nice CD to put on when your children are going to bed, need to be calmed or even when the adult of the house needs to be calmed. For the price, this CD is worth every penny.

The wave sound just sounds like static to me. It could be my cd player, but I don't think that's it. I don't know if I'm going to be able to sleep tonight with it on because it just sounds like a bunch of noise. I'll just have to wait and see.

I love this CD. I listen to it all the time as background when I'm cleaning around the house. It makes me feel like I'm right there at the beach. All that's missing is the smell of the ocean. Totally awesome!

Songbirds at Sunrise

This is one of my top selections for "gentle audio" background music for calming and focusing influence while doing office or computer work.

True to the "Sunrise" name, this the album has a gentle but light, sunny feel. Sliding alongside the songbirds' morning tunes are not only John Herberman's piano, but also bits of guitar, flute, oboe, flutes, and even a gentle harmonica. It feels like taking a walk on a sunny morning.

I enjoy a couple of other Solitudes albums featuring John Herberman's piano--"Forest Piano" and "Piano Cascades"--but "Songbirds at Sunrise" is the one I select when I need to pick up the mental pace a hair (and fear the others, much as I love them, might just lull me to sleep).

I have looked all over for the Perfect nature sounds and music CD and I believe I have found it! The nature souds are incredibly real (and non-looped) and the music is perfectly partnered. I love it!

I bought this cd for a friend who uses it for helping her go to sleep. She claims that it puts her out in no time, plus she loves the sounds of the loons and the occasional sounds of oars paddling through water.

The road to peaceful relaxation lies in this CD!!! Highly recommended!! I was so pleasantly surprised to find this just as relaxing and soothing as it actually is. The trick is in how it is blended to perfection. Nothing is too loud or overpowering, the sounds are balanced and harmonious. A great buy. Another brilliant disk is Heart of Peace, ahhh...

I've listened to probably around five different thunderstorm CDs, and this one is the best. I've listened to it perhaps hundreds of times.

It's difficult to get good recordings of thunderstorms because of the obvious difficulty of predicting them, so I salute anyone who tries. Yet the people who made this recording really did do a good job compared to the other recordings I've heard. There's much variation in the actual storms and a huge range of audio dynamics, from the beginning peltings of light showers to the tempestous crashing of thunder and heavy rain. And unlike other recordings of rain or thunderstorms, it neither has a tinny (or electronic-sounding) sound quality nor rain sounds that resemble static repeatedly duplicated ... Read More:
