U should hear this CD! It is one of the most beautiful, relaxing CD's that I have ever heard in my life! I first heard it at a gift shop in a hospital when we went to visit my grandma.

Whenever U feel bored or don't know what to do, U can always hear this CD again and again.

Possibly one of NASA's most avant-garde projects ever, SYMPHONIES OF THE PLANETS is a five-CD set that is now out of print. Put simply, it consists of recordings made by Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 as they passed by the various planets and moons of our solar system. Although sound as we perceive it cannot travel in the vacuum of space, each planet and moon emits its own electromagnetic "signature" that can be picked up by the right instruments, and those emanations can be converted into sound and recorded onto compact discs for your listening enjoyment.

Relax With Song of the Whales

Just over an hour of sothing music of the whales; those magnificent creatures that have souls, spirits, and their songs bring back that little bit of magic every adult yearns to believe in, no matter how old we are. I recommend most of the "Relax with" series, depending on what mood you wish to create for yourself, your family, and if my daughter is reading this, for your infant. Babies are accustomed to hearing from under water, and this particular CD did WONDERS! With appreciation, Mommy, Moma, Mum, or whatever else my maternal role gets titled! (grin)

I'm so happy to have found this again. We were given the cassette when it first came out, and my kids loved it! We broke our cassette tape years ago, but I kept it hoping some day to fix it. Recently, I was reminded of the songs again, and came to Amazon to look for it. I'm pleased to have it as a download and will purchase it as a CD as well. The kids, now late teens, still love this music!

Breaking Through the Mist

Everytime I listen to this, whether I'm at home or in the car, I am transported right into nature. It's one of the best nature recordings I own. Dan Gibson does a wonderful job of melding music and nature. Highly recommended!

When I was in 3rd grade my teacher used to play this tape in class while we did our work and I have just been attached to it ever since. The ambient music just puts your mind at ease while all your stress just melts away. It will leave you with a positive feeling.

The Relaxing Sounds of Thunder Lightning and Rain

I collect Thunderstorm and surf CDs. This was not a good choice because there is music mixed in with the storm. I didn't like it at all. I want a thunderstorm CD and if I had wanted music with it, I would listen to a storm outside my house while listening to music.
