This was the very first CD I ever owned and I must admit is still one of my very favorites! There is something about this type of native american music played on a wooden flute that really reaches into my soul. These tracks are accompanied with sounds from nature and take you on a journey and help you appreciate the wonders of the natural world. Used over the years since it's creation extensively as soundtrack for documentaries and other programs dealing with the old west some of these tracks are bound to sound familiar to you!
Soar with the eagles, get swept away by the storm.... you'll love it! Perfect for a relaxing massage or meditation, I highly recommend it! I am going to have to buy myself another copy, as I have worn mine out!

I bought this CD for my pet tree frogs. I play it at night on a loop for them from my computer. It is good enough to get one of my males to call at night when he hears it, if that is any indication. As earlier reviews stated, the first 2 tracks are the best but very short, the last track is long at 40 minutes. I put the other 2 tracks on a several loops before the 3rd song plays. For the price I paid for it, it was a decent CD.

This music cd is awesome. It lets you relax and let the stress melt away. I love all the nature sounds it's as if I was right there next to that stream or bird...........AWESOME. Great product.

I love this album - it's like happy family and hospitality to guests both. To the reviewer who can't appreciate the task of recording a peoples'history, there isn't a written history amoung these magical and mystical storytellers. I wish i could say (i'm white, european ancestry)- read the history books. But these American history books don't have integrity, they aren't accurate, and they are not complete. Mr. Locke is my favorite flutist, i almost always immediately recognize his flute.

I was sent the wrong CD. When I opened it and put it into my CD player it was christmas music. I thought it might just be the first song, but it was the whole cd. I needed it desperately for my new business and was let down. Just a waste of money.

Songs of the Humpback Whale

I enjoyed listening to this cd. My only other experience with a whale cd is the time I had baught one about 18 or 19 years ago that had Leonard Nemoi (The character 'Spock' in Star Trek) narrateing poems with the whale songs in the back ground. Now, that one I enjoyed so much more.
