Every cd that I have purchased from Dr. Jeffrey Thompson is amazing! I have around 22 of his cds now and I use every one of them for something different. He is an amazing artist with awesome results from his cds. I have healed and grown and moved forward so much because of using his cds and I highly recommend them to anyone who is trying to heal and grow and move forward in your life.

I bought this CD years ago after hearing it being played in a nature shop. The thunderstorms are wonderful! The best part is there is no music recorded with it. But the finishing touch is at the very end of the CD. You hear the sound of the rainfall starting to slow down and the faintest sound of little birds starting to sing after the rainfall stops...ZZZZZZZzzzzzzz

I got the casette version of "Deep Woods, Deep Waters" during a family trip in August, 1998. We were at a gift shop in Yellowstone National Park, and "Deep Woods, Deep Waters" just seemed to catch our attention. We immediately purchased it, and as soon as we got back to our rented car, we listened to it.

The music was absolutely beautiful. The instruments seemed to perfectly math the natural sounds. It was worth listening to again and again. Although this is Douglas Wood's only known album, it is a very good one at that. I always listened to it at night, as well as on the way to middle school and back.

I'm a 14 year old that usually buys things by bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Bush, Nirvana, ect. But when I was in Branson, Mis. (actually a very neat place) I bought this album after listening to a track off of it. I was amazed at the brilliance of this guitarist! Anyone who likes any kind of music from Classical to Metal to Country to Celtic should order this today!

Wilderness Thunderstorm

The classical music is good and part of it is familiar, but the sounds of the rain are even better! I love all those different sounds that the rain makes that sooth me and that I love so much. The thunder is perfect-loud and violent, but not too loud and violent. Actually, I think it it should be called, "Wilderness ThunderstormS," Because it's actually two storms. I reccommend this storm tape to you.

Algonquin Suite

I really enjoy the music on Dan Gibson's "Algonquin Suite" - with its mixture of what I call "relaxing music" & various nature sounds. There are more animal sounds than I've heard on my other Solitudes CD's, and I really like it.

I visited Algonquin Park on my honeymoon, and I've found that this CD does a wonderful job of transporting me back there when I listen to it - and Algonquin Park is a wonderful, beautiful place of nature, a place that I would like to return to often!

I use this CD to relax to, as well as to meditate with - and it always "does the trick".

Overall, if you enjoy relaxing music that includes various nature sounds, I would highly recommend this CD. Who knows, maybe it will become one of ... Read More:
