This CD for me didn't quite make the cut for chakra healing in comparison to other sound therapy and chakra balancing CDs that I own.
Halpern is a well-respected artist in the field with many years of experience and I don't discredit that he has a feel for what he is doing, however, I am disappointed with the musical composition of Chakra Suite.
The music on this CD is similar to beginner and intermediate finger warm-up exercises for keyboarding, basically consisting of climbing up the musical scale and back down again.
The music is relaxing to a degree for me, but also becomes annoying with the climbing up and down on the keyboard. As many times as I have tried to get through a meditation with this CD, ... Read More:

"Sexy Boy," while a big hit, actually hurts rather than helps this phenomenal album. That said, there is not a bad song on this album. It is fantastic and timeless.

This product is all it claims to be. You can feel it resonate in your physical body and aura. If you concentrate hard enough you can feel it actually aligning your chakras. The tones and timing are perfect. It's great for meditation and healing of body, mind, and soul. It makes a great CD for inducing great sleep and dreams and normalizing the energy levels of the body. Dr. Goldman is showing his true masterful skills of the full spectrum of sound with this album.

This CD contains more of Madonna's hits from after the time that "The Immaculate Collection" was released. However, there are no new studio tracks on this CD. Every track on this CD is also the Radio Edit of the song in question. The only people I know who eagerly seek out these hard-to-come-by radio edits are the die hard Madonna fans (like myself).
While some of the songs I question as to their status as a "greatest hit", like "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" (wasn't 'You Must Love Me' a bigger hit? Yes, it was, and yet it's not included here) and "Deeper And Deeper" (I can honestly say I have NEVER hear this song on the radio).

I heard Tetrishead on Youtube and decided I had to get the album. This is amazingly beautiful and expressive music, and works perfectly both for background music, or for more focused listening. I'd love to get the opportunity to see Zoe do this live!

One of my favorite CDs, for a long time now. I love to drift in a pool, enjoying small amounts of some calming substance, and let Zero 7 float me away on colorful clouds of beauty. Almost as good as meditation.

I went to go see the Box Masters in concert at Merrimack Hall in Huntsville Al for one reason. I liked Billy Bob's movies...it was a small venue and I might be able to meet him and get an autograph or two. Who knew that I would actually enjoy the friggin show?!? It is very rare that I see a group not knowing ANY of their songs and after one show I go to the lobby and buy a CD. It doesn't have the commercial appeal that Garth Brooks or Hank Jr. would pull but the songs are very real. You listen to them and if it doesn't apply to you...it applies to someone you know. It has this neurotic "last grasp" feel to it....like mixing the group "Everclear" with "Johnny Cash". I think the with the right exposure tracks 1-4 of their original stuff could easily ... If you like listening to two songs of redundancy and boredom this cd is for you. Picture placing your finger on one, maybe two keys on a synth or organ and leaving it there for 20 minutes on the first song, and 18 minutes on the second song and you've got this cd.

This collection of tunes is an experiment with rock. I'm loving Björk's vocals, all though over-produced to an inch of her life. This LP is too eclectic to be eclectic. Post seems an effort to please mainstream goons. The LP feels forced.

Burial is coming out of nowhere. He's publicity-shy, he's not touring and he concerns himself primarily with his beats. The palette is parsimonious: all is very sparse, but it never feels bare or cheap. Clearly, there are lots of influences here. Whereas the previous album was a nice crossover of dub, Drum & Bass, and Boards of Canada (!?), this one has an almost trance and garage feeling with eurotrash voices coming from another planet. There are echoing synthesizers that seem lifted from AFX Ambient Classic II and early Autechre (say, Garbage). The album is infectious and almost danceable (again, in a different planet). But the best thing about Burial is that his sound is instantly recognizable. It is original, honest. Given the intimate lyrics and melancholic ... Read More:
