This is my first Jeff Healey CD, so I can't say if its really "the best" of JH, but it's all good. I think covers of Badge, Yer Blues, and especailly While my Guitar Gently Weeps are excellent. The other covers and original works are very good. I play a little guitar and can appreciate his style. I guess I'll have to buy some other albums to see if other reviewers are right about others being better. But don't hesitate to buy this one.

Simply 'the best' for the voodoo of truely great Harmonica boogie improvisation. Alan Wilsons [pre-suicide] respect and harmonica 'call & response' to John Lees creative outpourings are like nothing else before or since. What a session. This record is a highly influencial album in my life and stands as a great example of 'electric Harmonica' tone and technique. I would give my 'coolies' for Al's amplifier and wonderful style. Meanwhile The whole band sounds very excited and committed to honoring their session with the legendary boogieman. What more to say? Clean Getaway

We just had the pleasure to see Curtis 3 days ago (my 9th time, my husbands 6th time) and we were delighted to see him looking so good and sounding so fabulous! We bought "Clean Getaway" directly from Curtis and he, as usual, autographed it for us, we've been listening to it solid since Saturday. An excellent production, and as Curtis told his audience the other night, there was no sound booth, just honest cuts, no headphones, and very few overdubs. That's why it sounds so honest! Curtis is a legend, and I'm loving that we've been here for so long before everyone else figures him out. I agree with another reviewer, "Who's lovin' you" could easily be a huge hit. From opening track to the final note, this cd is fantastic! I have to say that this cd has spent the most time in my cd player over the past several years than any other. That tells you it is one that you can listen to over and over. Sonny gets an amazing tone on his guitar. He is a true innovator on slide guitar using technique that is new to slide players. A Natural World is a great tune, and A World Away is great blues. If you do not have any Sonny Landreth in your cd collection, get this one. You will not be dissapointed. But a warning, after a few listens, you will want his entire collection!

This CD is one of my top 10! It's so organic and raw, but it's rock, blues, psychadelic, you name it! Buddy sings so great, shreds, lets it all hang out. He talks the band through some of the changes, he's talkin' to the engineer and they just leave it in. I love it, it's like we were in the control room watchin' 'em lay it down. And the opener "Done Got Old," on acoustic guitar is too cool! Get it, get it, get it!

I am not leaving a long detailed review for this album. I just wanted say that this is an amazing set. Johnny and Bob compliment Muddy so well. I love this album. I played it nonstop for like six months. If you love Muddy Waters, or are just a lover of the blues, you will absolutely love this album. Plus the remastered quality of this recording make it a joy to listen too. I dare you to try and not move your head and stomp your feet when have this disc in.
