Ok,for the record this Rory Gallagher Album was titled Irish Tour '74 on it's initial release way back 34 years ago. A Live recording from his Irish Tour in 1974,the venues were Cork City Hall,Dublin and Belfast.I have in my possession the double vinyl on Polydor records which I bought way back in 1974 when I was merely a 14 year old kid(that makes me 45 now for all you matameticians out there,ha,ha). In fact when this album was first released on cd it's title remained Irish Tour but they dropped the year '74 and it came in a double cd format with the thicker box and much stronger than the present ones.It was released on intercord,Capo Records, but there is a track called Just A Little Bit which is not included on this new updated version. It had ... Got this CD on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. This guy is a great bluesy player, singer and songwriter. I liked all the songs first time through and they are getting better with repeat listenings.

Sidewalk Caesars is Scrapomatic's 2nd album and has lost some of the raw down and dirty 3 AM sound of the 1st album but that being said it is still very good and worth having.. It's still Scrapomatic and that ain't bad....

The Music Gods have been very generous in sending us Sonny Landreth. This is the album that really puts Sonny on the map. Recorded back in 1995, guests such as Mark Knopfler (he shares lead guitar duties with Sonny on the masterpiece "Congo Square") appear throughout the album. If you love slide guitar, your collection is not complete if don't have Sonny's work. This album is an excellent place to start your collection, because once you hear Sonny, you are going to want to get everything he's ever done.

I am not leaving a long detailed review for this album. I just wanted say that this is an amazing set. Johnny and Bob compliment Muddy so well. I love this album. I played it nonstop for like six months. If you love Muddy Waters, or are just a lover of the blues, you will absolutely love this album. Plus the remastered quality of this recording make it a joy to listen too. I dare you to try and not move your head and stomp your feet when have this disc in.

Just bought the cd and to be honest I didn't know what to expect. It's been a while since the Candylicker has put out a new project. But this is Marvin Sease so I expected the best and lo and behold that's what I got. This whole album makes you want to party. The "Real Deal" hasn't lost a step and his wit and his vocals are as sharp as ever. These are real songs, no x-rated talk just good ole fashioned Marvin. So if you don't have it what are you waiting for. Go get it and sit back and take a ride with the Marvelous Marvin Sease.

This is the best CD I've purchased in a very long time. Mr. Cray provides us with low blues, high blues, soft blues and hard blues. His voice is perfect for this music and his playing, well, there are no words to describe that. I have had this disc in my car's player since I bought it and have listened to nothing else. I sing with Bob but I'm glad he can't hear me.

Several years ago I went to a Bonnie Raitt concert (had great seats) and the pre-show performer was Keb Mo. I had never heard him or his music, but I had met Bonnie back in the early 70's and was so looking forward to seeing her and listening to her set. When Keb Mo came on stage...a stool and an acustic guitar, I had no idea what I was in for! Unbelievable guitarist and that voice...WOW! I didn't want it to end. I have since purchased most of his CDs and go see every performance I can! He is the best folk type blues musician in today's world. This CD is one of his best, everything from humor to spiritual to just good 'ole "sitting of the front porch" blues. Highly recommend this CD for anyone who enjoys music without all the "technology" that often gets in the ... Read More:
