I know, I'm behind the times. I have listened to Shakira since she broke into the American music scene but only just now got around to buying this album.

I've heard and read about tons of people who complain she's too commercial on this album. Fine, it's pop. Meaning popular.

Still, even if you're distracted by that there's no doubt that her voice is haunting. Just freaking awesome. She stands out.

I plan on getting most her other albums over time. This one is a lot fun to listen too.

This cd was the bomb and i love both disks! Even the one with the group on it. "Blame it on the Boogie" is my number one song. I love to dance and i get down on that song. Great condition..I love it and thanks again.

Virtually every song of this very good and diverse genre TD 2 CD set was performed by Edgar Froese. He's essentially the only remaining member of Tangerine Dream for the past two years. Edgar's the patriarch of electronic music. On "Booster" he uses his boundless keyboard, synth and guitar musical skills to deliver several masterful soundscapes. He has the muli-talented virtuosity and autonomy to lead Tangerine Dream all by himself. He has mastered every niche of their sound.

The quality and visuals are excellent in what is presented, but this is not the true collection. Not even close. Madonna felt the need to leave out many videos that deserved to be included, why she did this is a mystery.

Having said that, what should be released is a definitive complete collection of all her videos to date, 2008. Every last one with a decent menu option available.

What appears to have happened for this video series is Madonna picking and choosing what videos she felt defined the 90's, not what her fans wanted. This item is good for the Madonna collection but leaves many things out. Next time they better include everything.

JULY 2008 REVIEW: I purchased this particular box set a little over a month ago, and I must say: it does NOT disappoint. You really can't complain; although the box set was released several years ago, and therefore the early 1990's CD mastering here isn't necessarily as strong and powerful sounding as a 2008 mastering might be, the tracks presented here are bright and clear. Approximately 100 tracks fill out this 4-CD box set, and most of the songs are winners. And they are presented here in their original mono sound mixes as originally released (an apparent problem for some reviewers here, but I had no issue with it; the songs sound the same as they always have). Some people assume things about this group that are just not true. Yes, these girls somewhat rely on their sex appeal to give them a fan base, however their songs attract women, and are not completely distasteful. Their songs put women first, unlike copycats of theirs who use sex appeal in both their look and their lyrics to turn everyone off. Christina Applegate was the actress who initially stuck with the Pussycat Dolls when they were still a burlesque group, and other actresses like Pamela and Carmen merely passed through to get their chance to become a part of the Pussycat Dolls for a short time, not to fuel their image.

I'm old enough to know the words to most of his older hits, but I learned them through osmosis rather than being a rabid fan. I saw him in concert about five years ago and was blown away by his covers of Prince, Stevie Wonder and Aerosmith, not to mention his general stage presence and massive coolness. I bought this CD yesterday and so far four people--two of them college students--who heard this at my home said they're going to buy it. My teenage daughter took it with her to a sleepover tonight. She couldn't believe a 68-year old dude could sing something as "gangsta" (her words, not mine) as "Tom Jones International." I absolutely love this CD. It is one of my favorite albums ever. I give it 5 stars because I like everyone song, and can listen to it over and over and over again. I just love her voice and her versatility. Mariah fans trust me you will NOT be disappointed. She did her thing on this one.
