while much can be said about the decline in the music industry this album represents the death of rock music in the ninties. This album compared to the great rock albums of the seventies surely shows the lowering of musical talent through the decades. most of the songs you can't understand and what little you can does not make any sense. there is little artistic value in this cd

Evanescence features a wonderful female singer named Amy Lee. Amy has a very good, deep sounding voice. You won't have the generic female singer that the mainstream is used to. The music in this one has a good amount of variety to it. Sometimes you will hear rock music, electronica, or some weird other sounds. One problem I have with this one though is that Amy Lee sounds the same in most of the sounds. Still, she sounds good, just the same.
The obvious audience for this one is someone who feels weak and wants to rise up. Not in a political way, but in a more emotional way. Soem of the lyrics are based around females more then males, but you can deal with it.
Songs like "Lithium" and "Weight of the world" are my personal ... Read More:

I like the beat to both the intro & outro, they frame a pretty good CD. Track III "You & ME" has real soulful feel as well as beats. My favorite song is Track VI "Think of You". A real upbeat song kind of reminiscent of Jaguar Wright. The XI "I tried" is another upbeat song that can be considered a good dance song. I think the fifthteenth song "Someday" is the most heartfelt song of the whole CD. She mentions her family in a very loving way. Songs IV, "Best Friend", V "Alright", VIIII, "Upside" Down", are decent cuts as well. I know I shouldn't but I must compare her sound to Angie Stone with whom I have a high opinion of.

Grandson just entered the US Air Force and isn't allowed much in the way of personal belongings. He IS allowed his treasured Stones music and was excited to receive Shine A Light from his Nana. Thanks

Well, we all know the review process is flawed--the one-star review is just heinous, but it will disappear. This CD is magical. I am as non-Latina as they come, but I can't play this (at work) without swaying/dancing in my seat. People stop at my office door and smile--it is that contagious. I agree with other reviewers: Dudamel is a buoyant talent, the real thing, and I for one am thrilled to be around to watch him mature and dazzle. I live in New York where I've seen him twice, but would fly to LA to see him at work again--kudos to them for hiring this extraordinary young man. Please buy this CD--so highly recommended. Absolutely brilliant.

One of the best cd's I've ever bought!! I love the voice of Amy adams, her songs (True Love's Kiss, Happy Working Song and That's How You Know) are very precious and beautiful; Carry Underwood is simply incredible in her song (Ever Ever After), too!; the instrumental songs transport you to that fantasy world (you wish you were into the movie again), they are so special and the arrangements are terrific, the orchestra is one of the best efforts of this sondtrack, and Alan Menken did a marvelous work!!...and I adore the romantic song (so Close), is the climax of both movie and soundtrack!! And the last song, with James Mardsen (That's Amore) is very nostalgic, funny and magic (you think you are in Paris)!! You have to buy this cd...Is simply ENCHANTED!!

The sisters are so much better live in concert. They haven't aged a bit. I saw them at the Oregon state fair 2007. What an awesome, flawless performance.......Tanya

This is a fantastic CD - in true Brad Paisley fashion! A great variety of fun, up tempo songs like "Ticks" mixed with touching ballads like "Letter to Me", and signature Paisley humor, like "Online." I bought this CD when it was first released and I recently went out and bought my 2nd copy - of the new version with "Waitin' on a Woman" on it. That was one of my favorite songs on the TWW CD and I am so happy that Brad went back to that song and released it!!! Made a great CD even better! Way to go Brad!!!!

A delightful comic romp around the globe with the Fab Four making their second movie by contractural arrangement and while they had enough pull to get to go where they wanted to.
The songs are the product and driving force. As one might expect, well writen, well performed Beatle music. "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away", may well be one of the best Beatles songs ever written.
Both the album and the movie are good for a giggle and memories (for those as old as I).
One of my seven year old daughter's favortie movies.
