If I were to rate this as a pure PG album, it would not be on the top of the list, but as a Gabriel inspired and directed project I think it does quite well. The semi-consistant world drum groove in the background of most of the tunes helps provide a general consistency and vibe to the whole album. Burn You Up Burn You Down is a fun tune, as is the title "whole thing". This seems like more of an album you have on in the background than one you actively listen to (like 3, security or melt), but Gabriel fans won't be disappointed, and by the time you get to "Big Blue Ball" at the end, the album will already feel like an old favorite.

If you've never heard of CSN and you want to get an idea what these guys are all about, pick this up. Granted, it doesn't have the classics with Neil Young, but that's all right. These guys rock as either a three piece or a four piece vocal band. You can enjoy some good old-fashioned folk/protest rock from one of the original bands that did that kind of music. There's a bit of everything here. I'm really too young to see these guys in their true heyday (call it '68 to early 80s), but they are still relevant 40 years after their debut album. This product was recommended to me by my cousin. It has been well worth the $15-and then some. My son loves it-and has loved it since he was 3 months old. He's now 11 months and will still sit & watch it. I actually enjoy watching it myself-it's very intriguing. The music is wonderful-so peppy and spirited. This is our favorite Baby Einstein dvd. I have purchased several as shower gifts for new mom's. Love it!

Like the title says Elton John always sings a good song. I can't think of any song that he has sung that has been a dud. He is one of a kind and truly a genius of his time. He sings with great passion and his music is good to listen to when you are feeling up or down. Don't get me wrong, he is not my favourite musican but one that always comes up with a hit. Greatest hits album? Why not take it through to 2008 because the hits just keep coming. Knowing what songs is on the CD helped me want to buy it because each one holds a special place in my heart for different reasons. This work is what I consider the only true new rhythm and blues on the airwaves. Neo soul does not work for me. While it is a new album the songs and singing styles are from the 70" which is so great to hear.
In previous work Al seemed to be stuck between gospel and R&B, but he is clear on this album 'cause it is all about R&B. Also there are great duets. I wish I could hear more of it on the airwaves.

Oh I remember when this first came out.... I bought Step By Step as a cassette tape. Now I am updating it to CD and I can still remember all the words to every song. This CD shows serious talent from NKOTB. It is an essential piece of your collection if you are a fan!

Oasis' 7th album shows the lads starting to return to Morning glory days. It is loud, exciting and thoughtful. They have gotten away from the past albums and moved back to what made them famous, great rock music. It takes a few listens to appreciate the music but worth the money!

This album will be recorded as a classic in music history. Love Norah's airy and sultry sound...such relaxing music. I can listen to her music over and over again. A new emerging singer-songwriter I recently discovered reminds me a little of Norah Jones with a little Fiona Apple tossed in; Arrica Rose. Her latest CD La La Lost is her best to date.

Ray has a very interesting quality in his voice which ads a dimenmsion to almost any lyric. The Lyrics are very thought provoking making this a good purchase.
