I am not typically a person that enjoys jazz music or even close to it. I heard a 2 second clip of "Arms of a Woman" on a commercial for the album and I was intrigued enough to check it out. Well, I purchased the album and was blown away by the artist's vocals. I don't even know how to describe how much I like this album:) All music should be this good, and it is truly a shame that artists this good do not come around more often. Amos Lee has turned me into a true, lifelong fan. I am so glad that I discovered this artist and I am truly looking forward to more great stuff that he puts out.

This Tony guy cracks me up. In his review he writes:
>>Long Line of Losers - Solid straightforward country song from Eddie. I have a feeling this could see the same massive success on radio as "Lucky Man."<<
Dude, Eddie didn't write that song. That's a Kevin Fowler song that MG decided to hack away at and totally ruin.
Check out Kevin's version and throw rocks at your MG CDc. Besides, they kill little bears that are locked in cages.

"Live at Blues Alley" is a nice blues CD. Even the moaning and groaning that is done in blues songs sounds good, because it's done by Eva Cassidy, who has a rich, sweet voice.
The quality of the CD is good. It was recorded live, but there are no extraneous sounds, other than applause.
Release Date August 16, 2005
This is a good album of solid classic style country music. I hadn't tried any music by this artist and bought the album without any preconceived notions about it. It's enjoyable. Only thing - it has these tracks that are just a few seconds long with mumbling on them that I don't get and dont like.

OK, imagine, if you will, an old wooden railroad bridge across a deep chasm somewhere in the wilderness. Two trains approach from the opposite directions: one is carrying a brilliant string quartet of the finest young classical musicians from the most demanding music schools. The other train is bearing a fantastic bluegrass band with one of the greatest banjo players of the time.
They collide head-on.
And yet miraculously and mysteriously, out of the inferno strides five young survivors. Somehow spared by a higher power of both darkness and light to create a sound greater than the sum of the parts.
That's Crooked Still.
Think about this-- when The Boss was putting together his Seeger Sessions ... Read More:

This is one of my most listened to cds. Emmylou Harris and Mark Knopfler...They just seem to fit together, each bringing their own compliment to the songs....A great cd
