What happened to most of these guys? BRING BACK RETRO SWING!! This craze died out way too soon.

Worth twice the asking price just for Nik Kershaw's Wouldn't It Be Good!! Rest of the tracks are "vintage" 80s' also. The whole Just Can't Get Enough series is a must for 80s' music fans. Absolutely no clunkers!!!

This is an amazing collection of live studio music. The variety of songs and artists is wonderful, it will be hard to wear this out with such different styles of music on this cd. This station and KGSR out of Austin, Tx, do some of the best (if not the best) live compilation cd's that I know of. The bare bones version of Coldplay's Yellow is just amazingly soulful....the Dido contribution is a real surprise too, these are just two of the highlights, but the whole thing is so very good...buy, listen, and enjoy.

Of the Give 'Em The Boot albums this is simply the best and certainly one of the best punk samplers ever. It is a great mix of crusty punk and ska. It showcases the best bands that Epitaph has to offer. This is a must have for any punk or ska fan.

The 80's were memorable to say the least; in fact, it had an air all it's own. The music has stood the test of time, and still holds fond memories for those who lived through the decade. Apparently, the bands who appear on this album grew up in the 80's, and are covering their favorite songs, for better or for worse.

Not surprisingly, Relient K brings the best work on the album with a true cover of "Manic Monday" that keeps the original spirit of the song, while still keeping the Relient K sound we all know and love. So if the highlight comes first, does that mean it's all downhill from there? Folks, I only bought this CD for "Send Me An Angel" by Real Life. That's one of my favorite songs from the 80's. The rest of the CD outside of "99 Luft Balloons" by Nena is passable. Five stars for the Group 'Real Life'!! Three stars for the disc overall.

I bought this CD when it first came out for the sole reason that it had a remake of Gremmie Out of Control, originally by the Silly Surfers (see: Big Daddy Roth). I've been listening to it a lot lately, and now I think I might have to get the rest of the series. Highly recomended for fans of the water.
